This is a nice welcoming B&B. The checking in was very efficient and have been offered a beer on occasion. The rooms are comfortable and warm, only down side is the lack of a working height table for those of us that take work back and a internet signal to rear of property. The breakfast is great and you get... More

Stayed at The Old Mill last week and thought it was great. Check in was in the main building by a nice burning log fire. I was given a complimentary drink, which is a first on all my travels – result! The room was modern, clean and warm. Breakfast was cooked fresh by the owner who I thought was very... More

Stayed February , totally satisfied with room, shower and breakfast served by owners who were extremely friendly . Location right near a lovely country pub the fix covert , gentle stroll down Kane. It did what it says on the tin, not 5 star hotel but very good b&b. would definetly stay again.

Arrived at this B & B in the pitch black with no door light and not a sign of a soul to find my name written on an envelope with a key in it pinned to a door - this for a woman travelling on her own! Having wandered through the dark in the rain to find my room, I... More

Stayed for 3nights while visiting family in the area & booked 2 rooms. We didn't have breakfast which was charged for as an extra as we ate with the family. We arrived very late after a long drive & the keys were waiting for us in an envelope as expected. The rooms were lovely & warm so very welcome with... More

What a beautiful site! Lovely on first sight, lovely reception area, lovely private decking area and guest suite on the first floor. But such a disappointment, here's a few of the things that didn't work properly: of the two tvs, only one worked and the second had very poor signal and the remote had lost it's battery cover. The light... More

Weve stayed in a few unusual places like castles and lighthouses, but this was our first stay in a windmill. A loveley building, with bedrooms in the outhouse where we were being very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and warm, a lot of care has obviously been spent here. An excellent breakfast, and friendly helpful owners and... More

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel which is an old mill that has ben extended. As such it is a bit quirky but I guess that is part of its charm. It was raining when I stayed there and so i didn't see it in the best of circumstances but I imagine that in good weather it would be... More

We found the place easy enough and was checked in by the owner's son. The room was fine, nice and warm on our arrive and the TV and kettle both worked and the shower was one of the best we've had. The bed was okay too. The family was great, friendly and welcoming. Due to a mix up with the... More

On our Arrival the place looked idyilic!!!! as we entered the reception, there was a lovley big log fire ,an enthusiastic welcome and a complimentary drink , we ,were then bombarded with questions about breakfast and the extra cost it would entail,we asked if we could have time to think about it ,not really knowing if we would want breakfast at...
