I stayed her last November for 1 night with my family. If you want luxury and amenities, it's not for you. I just loved the charm and atmosphere. As another review here days.... it's the creaky floors and unusual layout. It was actually a really "spooky" place in a fun kind of way. My kids loved it. Food was great...friendly... More

Arrived late at night to be met by a quorum of octogenarians, thought I'd entered a care of eldery home. Dimly lit, creaking floor boards and a hint of jaded former glory. However, reception staff were wonderfully pleasant and real ambassadors for the hotel. My room was a bit tacky - with grubby fingerprints around the light switches and more... More

I am back in Canada now after a fantastic time in Yorkshire, Cornwall and Wales with 2 wonderful friends. The trip to Wales was a complete surprise and last minute. What a welcome we had from everyone! From the moment we arrived until we had to leave - the staff were the greatest. The dining was SUPERB! and I can't... More

I stayed here with friend and a dog for three nights at the beginning of may. Firstly when searching for somewhere to get away to for a few days I found it difficult to find a hotel which was dog friendly, had a bar, served meals and was in a nice location - preferably near the coast! After hours and... More

We had never stayed at this hotel previously and first impressions on arrival were not very good. Although the location is lovely and the views from a room with a sea view are lovely, the rest of the experience was a little lacking. The rooms were damp and ours had a rusty tin shower cubicle. The toilet was very noisy... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding. I had not stayed there before and i will not be venturing there again. Firstly, the hotel is very dark and is not looked after as the decor was horrid. The room i stayed in was quite large but very grotty. There were marks on the wall, the door took alot... More

Myself, wife and three girls (2 of which are twins) stayed here for two nights for a wedding. While our initial impressions of the hotel were not great as the decor could do with some updating, we had a fantastic stay. All the staff were very helpful, the food was excellent and the setting beautiful. We all stayed in the... More

I’ve stayed at the Deganwy before, but several years ago. Since my last stay this once elegant hotel has become rather run down and unloved. Everywhere is in need of some serious redecoration and upgrading. My room, on the third floor, was small and cluttered. The shower was impossible to use. The one great thing was the view from the...
