My husband and I have just enjoyed a three night break at this delightful hotel. We stayed in Willow which was spacious and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. A great deal of thought has gone into the comfort of the guests. The pool was warm and clean and available to use at all times as was the hot tub. The... More

My sister and I took my mother to Felbrigg Lodge for her 80th birthday last weekend. We stayed in a lovely 2 bed 2 bathroom cottage, which was clean and comfortable. Importantly for us the restaurant food was also excellent and our gluten-free food was some of the best food we have had. All of our meals were individually made... More

Just had a great weekend away on our first visit to Felbrigg Lodge,it is very peaceful and quiet even on a Bank Holiday weekend,Evening meals were wonderful, the pool big for such a small hotel 12.5metres plus a sauna and jacuzzi. We will be back.

Yes even when the world outside is loud and busy , here at FELBRIGG you can escape....and now it looks like autumn is about to arrive .We can look forward to all the beautiful colours in the trees and the beaches deserted and calling to be walked on....hurry back More

We don't live that far away in the scheme of things, we came for a night away from it all and we weren't disappointed at all. The lodge we stayed in was lovely - but the real gem is the staff, so friendly and helpful. Thank you! We used the pool and hot tub at about 11pm, very clean and... More

We stayed at Felbrigg Lodge in July 2014 for a 3 night stay with our three children (11,10 and 6) and had a wonderful time. The staff could not have been more helpful and the overall approach taken by the hotel was relaxed and friendly. We stayed in the hedgehog apartment which was lovely and the kitchen facility really handy.... More

What fabulous children you have so well behaved.....we would love to welcome you back anytime.... Yes being set in the countryside has so many advantages...the still and quietness adds to its mystery. For anyone not familiar with Norfolk its not all about here on the coast its about quality time spent together in the countryside where the air is clean... More

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Felbrigg Lodge. It was a beautiful location, tranquil, a real retreat from our busy lives. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and private, much nicer than being in a hotel. It is off the beaten track, but still within easy driving distance of the coast. We opted to have our... How lovely it was to go online and read your glowing review, thank you.....every hotel works hard to achieve customer satisfaction and to meet your expectations....nothing drives us on to try to achieve more than positive affirmation that what we are trying to achieve is working...staff morale is such a vital component in the never changing jigsaw and a happy... This is the second time we have taken our very elderly parents, one invalided and the other with advanced alzheimers. The staff could not do enough to help and accommodate us with our needs and handled the more eccentric behavior of the 'crumblies' with discretion and sympathy. The standard of the suites and food, both at breakfast and dinner, is... More

We have lots of very special people who come and stay with us, and we class your parents as two of those....we love cooking their favourite dinners and making their day special in some memorable way....and giving their carers a little bit of rest and someone to talk to....life throws us many curved balls with our health we like to... We have stayed at Felbrigg Lodge four times. Each visit has become better and better. We find Dee Dee and her husband seem to be constantly tweeking the site in a very positive way. It was great to see you both again, and thank you for your comments..... Yes my latest tweak is we will soon have twelve new members to the family, we will have our own chickens and freshly laid eggs on the breakfast menu....we will run a little competition to name them. With some great prizes... Come and meet them soon... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Felbrigg Lodge in a unique small boutique hotel in North Norfolk (we are boutique not because of the modern minimalistic décor, but because we are one of a kind, we have an independent attitude and our clients are individualist too. We offer a unique guest experience)The hotel is not a typical one it has no long dark corridors where someone slams a door at 2am,or drops a shoe on the floor just when you have got to sleep. Nor does it have large empty reception rooms which look like an upmarket furniture warehouse which are only full on high days and holidays. We don't need them all our rooms are suites and have ample seating again not like most hotels that are so small you have to sit on the bed to be comfortable and watch telly. We are set in a beautiful woodland location where relaxation and peace are paramount. There are eight rooms set in the grounds which are all ground floor. The remaining two can be found in the main house on the first floor , the house also includes the small intimate restaurant that even when we are full you will never experience an extensive wait for your food. We now boast a small conservatory which overlooks the garden and babbling brook. As we are licensed you can relax and enjoy a drink, or a glass of wine. All rooms are individually styled 5 having recently been recently refurbished. We have a heated indoor swimming pool, and an outside hot tub. We endeavour to make exceptional friendly customer service our mission. ... more   less
