Stayed on a Friday night for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Had eaten before here but never stayed. Booked a twin and a double room. Friendly welcome when arrived and throughout the evening. Lovely food which is always the case when eating here. Just a little thing that the double bed was rather small as we are tall and usually... More

Thank you John for taking the time to post your review. It's wonderful to hear that after dinning with us, you then decided to make a room reservation. Sorry about the bed, all our ground floor rooms have the standard size double (but we do have a king size bed in room 3, which is one of our deluxe rooms).... More

The purpose of my stay in the Roman Camp Inn was to have a much needed break. This is what it was - I was well looked after, the staff are very friendly and helpful and all my special requirements were looked after well.

Booking the room was even a pleasant experience, so It was no surprise that we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. I had mentioned it was a treat for my wife's birthday and on arrival in our room a card and a couple of treats had been left for her, a nice thoughtful gesture. We chose a deluxe room... More

This time of year there are not many places open on a Sunday Evening, so we were very happy to hear that you found us serving meals, which we do every day from 12 noon until 9.30 pm. On your next visit to the North Norfolk Coast, we hope that you give us a try for accommodation not just for... More

I enjoyed staying here, it was a lovely clean place to stay. The rooms were upto date and were very clean. The restaurant was quick and easy to order food. The bar was great especially the lovely ladie leanne behind the bar who was very funny and easily made you laugh. Loved the stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a a lovely 2 night break. The NYE package was very reasonably priced (not bumped up just because it was NYE) with a hot/cold buffet and disco. The evening was very enjoyable in comfortable surroundings. The staff are excellent - very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well decorated and are clean and comfortable, providing a good night's... More

We arrived at around 3 on Sunday afternoon, as we hadn't booked we were pleased that the restaurant seemed fairly empty. I ordered a glass of Shiraz and P had coffee. We looked at the menu and "specials" board and I ordered the fish pie and vegetables whilst P had the roast beef which came with a desert, Eaton mess.... More

We really do appreciate you taking the time to post your review and were very disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your lunch's on this occasion. You had ordered a 175ml glass of Pitchfork Shiraz @ £5.25 and this has been a popular Shiraz on our Wine List. The Fish Pie from our Specials Board was made of... More

Out for Sunday lunch, our most local venue. This is a great place to go, great beer, cosy environment, lovely gardens. Front line staff are fabulous. We had roast beef main, which was ok but quality of the beef was not that good and the Jus (gravy) felt packet mixed which really let it down. Otherwise, the presentation of the... More

Its great to receive a review from local customers, who are supporting a local business. All your kind words regarding the Inn are lovely. We are very disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy the quality of your meal. The Roast Beef was Topside of Beef, which we purchase from a local Butcher and the gravy is always made... More

We went for a relatively low cost meal here because we knew they had an offer - which runs out at the end of February. Two courses plus coffee for £10 - now that is very good value for North Norfolk! The surroundings are lovely and inviting- especially on a winter's evening. Staff were friendly and it was a very... More
