Very friendly staff. Lovely old pub in a gorgeous village. The food was all locally sourced, reasonably priced and tasted fantastic. None of this chucked in a microwave stuff you get in a lot of pubs. Worth a visit and i will definatly be coming back for some more.

We arrived and were checked in quickly. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We were offered to be booked in for dinner which we decided to do and we had a great meal, very good value for money. There is a lovely log fire in the pub which we sat around before going back to our room for... More

We were welcomed by the owners on arrival and shown to our room. It was spacious; clean and large. The owner's apologised for a slight "cosmetic" issue in the bathroom but it had no effect on us. After getting settled we went across to eat. The food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Next morning we equally enjoyed... More

Stayed there for 1 one night. Huge, clean, cosy room. Warm welcoming. we had English breakfast which was the only one to order anyway but I was really tasty. Bar/restaurant was really cute and cosy as well with couple of fireplaces.. Would definitely recommend this B&B...

Couldn't rate this experience any higher. Lovely setting with a cosy bar. Room was cosy and comfortable with everything you could need. Staff were attentive and nothing was a problem, not that we had any issues. The food menu looked good although on this visit we did already have dinner planned elsewhere. We will be going back and staying to... More

Wow! Beautiful inn, comfy and immaculate bedroom and top quality food! Just returned from a nights stay here. Perfect in every single way. It would be impossible for me to find fault with my stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Tea/coffee making facility in the large spacious warm and cosy bedroom. Lovely evening relaxing in the bar in front of... More

I am a single traveller and found the Rose and Crown a very warm and friendly place to stay. I was made very welcome and also made new friends whilst staying in the very comfortable and amazing accommodation. The food was also very good and one of the best breakfasts I have had. Would most definitely visit again.

Stayed with my family at the start of the new year and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere this village pub had to offer. The family room in the stable block was really clean, spacious and kitted out with everything you would need. The Kent beers along with the breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. Can recommend the Sunday roast. You will... More

A lovely old pub which offers excellent beers & wines plus really top quality pub grub in a delightful olde world atmosphere. The game pie was delicious. The smoked salmon, prawn & crayfish salad was also highly rated. The freshly cooked breakfast was one of the best we have had for a long time.Service is warm and friendly. The rooms... More

Very nice food but the service was really slow. We had to get our own menus also we had to go to the bar for drinks. Just one waitress in a packed restaurant. I will give it another try and hope the staffing issues were just a blip. As I believe this restaurant has actually just been taken over with... More
