We stayed for a week from 21st June, I am originally from Liverpool and had never done the City as a tourist, and my wife had never been before. The Hotel itself is most impressive, the staff could not have been more attentive, courteous and helpful, suggesting places to visit and the best way to get there. The food in... More

We had our wedding there 28th June and the day couldn't have for better. All the staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was superb. The location was exactly what where looking for and the pictures we got took are amazing. The room we stayed in had a jaqukzi and 4 poster bed. All my friends and family... More

Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. Very impressive exterior and grounds in a great location. A disappointment when you enter as the rooms are very tired and desperately in need of refurbishment. Curtains are coming off the walls. Excellent food in the restaurant with very good service. A different story in the bar area. Outrageously priced snacks! The lift... More

Thank you for your comments. We are actually undergoing a large refurbishment of our bedrooms, so we hope that you will come and stay with us again soon. Our bar snacks start from just 80p and our most expensive main course being £13.95, with a full range of starters, mains and sides. We pride ourselves in the competitive prices we... More

We attended a really enjoyable Silver Wedding celebration here with 18 guests in total. Excellent food with really attentive and friendly service for the whole evening. The public areas were very well appointed with some great traditional features.

We held our wedding at the Leasowe Castle on 31st May, and it couldn't have been better! From the initial visit down to final checkout, everyone was polite and professional. The food was excellent, it was freshly cooked, hot and tasty. Our marriage service was held in the "Star Chamber" a beatiful oak panelled room with a plaster ceiling made... More

I went to the restaurant last night for an anniversary meal with my wife. Didn't make it to the restaurant. On arrival we were presented with a barely furnished ante-room to the bar and informed that our alternative would be eating alone in the restaurant. This at 7:30 pm. The staff appeared harassed and confused - in fact we had... More

My wife and I attended a wedding recently and stayed for one night in sea view room. The room was on the small side. The staff did not seem overly keen to help and service was generally slow. Thank you for your comments. We do have a lift servicing all floors of the hotel, and also offer rooms specifically designed and equipped for disabled guests. Our entrance is flat and our bar and restaurant are all on the ground floor with ramps in place at the bar, making us an excellent venue for disabled guests. More

Stayed for one night- 10/05/14- for a work reunion and to attend a themed party night. Lovely spacious room with views of Liverpool Bay and the golf course. Room was spotlessly clean with tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and a nice flat screen television. The decor was quite dated even in a historic building. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off... More
