Leasowe Castle exceeded our expectations, we had an incredible wedding, everything was timed to perfection, Peter (owner) made us feel extremely special which was supported by our wonderful wedding coordinator Chris and his amazing staff who looked after us all throughtout the day and night, they never stopped, great staff. It was a beautiful, romantic and perfect wedding venue, 10... More

Stayed 2 nights - first night all we could hear was boom boom boom from 2 wedding day dos.had we known this earlier in the evening we would have asked to be moved to the other quieter side of hotel. Paid for a sea view but didn't expect to be in the roof & view was spoilt as the window... More

My daughter and Son in law had their wedding here on 8/11/2014 - Hayley and Matt. It was an amazing day from start to finish. The quality of the wedding breakfast and buffet was second to none, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Thank you all for making it such a Special day. The wedding party also stated... More

I recently attended a wedding at this hotel and to be honest the wedding went fine and the bride & groom had a great day. Unfortunately that can not be said for our experience with the rooms, service & breakfast. The rooms were extremely basic for the price (£89 b&b), in need of repair and maintenance. To start the morning... More

After trawling the internet for suitable wedding venues we came across Leasowe Castle and loved the pictures immediately!! We arranged a meeting and was met by Mr Peter Atherton who quickly put us at ease with his calm confident manner....Our date was booked within minutes !!! From that day forward nothing was too much trouble for Mrs Andrea Atherton and... More

Just as other reviews have stated this hotel is of a standard quality. Will make this easy to read/understand; Exterior looks are nice. Interior bedrooms are of a decent standard. Some have been updated (all updated rooms are on top floor). As stated in other reviews the noise of downstairs can be heard in the bedrooms at night (i stayed... More

I stayed here for one night whilst working in the area. I paid £50 for the room, which I found very reasonable. The room was good value for money. I decided to eat in the bar as I'd been working all day. The menu was pretty standard but I went with the gourmet burger with horseradish which was priced at... More

There are a number of critical reviews levelled at the Leasowe Castle. On the basis of our 2 night stay, some of them are unfair. It's not a concrete box, erected in 5 minutes and similar in every plastic respect with hotel boxes located in the urban highways of every town and city. It's a hotel in a 16th century... More

Stayed here for a friends wedding--nice hotel, good location, we were in room 51--big room, views of the golf course and seafront. Service good too--well worth coming. Evening arrangements for the wedding well organised, buffet enjoyable, breakfast the following day also.

Beware the car park to the right as you approach , it floods in heavy rain. The two person lift creaks & groans and does not necessarily mean you will not have to climb/descend some stairs. Do not visit at weekends as invariably there is one or two weddings with noisy celebrations reverberating round the building until the early hours.... More

We are pleased that you enjoyed your visit and the lovely views. Unfortunately you arrived during severe and unusual storm conditions. There were one or two puddles in one of our car parks to the right of reception, but it was not flooded and could still be used. However, the car park to the left of reception, with space for...
