Stayed as part of a Wedding Party and had a great time during our 2 night stay, would recommend. Our room was pretty basic and the bed not too comfortable but it was clean and a good size with the essentials, tea/coffee making equipment, iron and tv. Our daughter had no complaints about her bed in our family room. The... More

I chose the hotel partly based on its unusual location and history but also because it was a short travel distance from family. When we arrived (9pm) there was a wedding in full progress so that was the centre of attention for the staff at the time. We had already eaten so we didn't expect to eat in the evening.... More

This hotel will always hold a special place within my heart. They successfully made my wedding reception an amazing day back in 2002. Sadly, More successful than the marriage was! However moving on. I returned here with mixed emotions. I was happy to stay as long as we wouldn't be allocated the same room. I was not disappointed, Everything from... More

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Leasowe Castle over the past seven years, with duration ranging from one month to four month. My previous review highlighted the excellent hospitality the Leasowe provides with excellent customer approach. I have recently moved into the hotel for a short duration and I was very impressed with the latest room refurbishment.... More

We were, to say the least, amazed by the quality of the room at this hotel (room 50). Especially considering the extremely reasonable rate. The room is modern, exceptionally clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the sea and golf course. The bathroom is also uniquely incredible and clean with a huge bath...probably the only one I'd want to... More

Just spent a night for a friends wedding and at £90 a night I expected a lot more for my money. First we were greeted by a rude receptionist who seemed inconvenienced to check us in. Then we went to our room which was tiny, outdated and not the cleanest of rooms. The water pressure was slow and the shower... More

We have have just come back from a friend's wedding. It was a lovely wedding and the staff were very attentive. The facilities are good - the wedding function room was nicely decorated. The gym is very good. It was annoying to have to pay £10 for an early check in. The bedrooms were not up to a good standard... More

We stayed here for four nights, and were made to feel very welcome. The staff are very friendly, helpful and local. The Manager was always on hand, and went out of his way to speak to us. We paid £10 extra per night for a sea view, and what a view! Without having to strain, we could see the buildings... More

Attended for Wedding Reception and Evening on 25th July 2014. The weekend the 'Giants' were in Liverpool, which people may remember was an exceptionally hot weekend. Delighted to have such fine weather for a wedding day, however, the upstairs function suite we had was unbearably hot and uncomfortable, to the degree that the wedding cake collapsed. Upon asking whether perhaps... More
