The hotel is located at the end of the peninsular overlooking either the Irish sea or River Mersey, depending on your room allocation. We had the Mersey view which was great. No restaurant in the hotel but there are various options, including Weatherspoons breakfast at £2.99 for full English, within a hundred metres. Free carpark a bonus too. All staff... More

Me and my husband were here for only 1 night in a double room whilst visiting family. Check in was fine; staff very friendly although a check in time of 3pm earliest is too late especially when some guests do travel to the area and want to freshen up! Our room was small and very basic. Desk with no mirror... More

I stayed one night in this hotel while I attended a party in Wallasey. I have to say, I had a lot of trouble getting to sleep due to an excessively hot, airless room. As soon as I drifted off, I awoke coated in a thick layer of sweat. I found the experience quite claustrophobic. The staff were very friendly... More

The rooms and corridors were too hot. The shower was patchy and there was a weird white stain on the bed. Other guests were also unhappy. The best thing about it was the Starbucks and Pizza Express nearby. I liked the pillow but my wife did not like the bed. Free water was appreciated.

This travelodge has a brilliant location, but for our family stay the room was too hot and it was only 20 degrees outside, there is no air con just a desk top fan..unfortunately due to safety concerns the window only opens a small amount..lack of clothes storage and poor shower pressure were my other concerns.Staff were very helpful and New Brighton is... We had an accessible room. Spotlessly clean, well decorated with very friendly and helpful staff. On the reception and housekeeping. Well situated to near by cafés bars and eateries. I certainly stay here again.

A night out in New Brighton, but couldn't be bothered going home... The Travelodge is ideal for this sort of thing: Central to all the restaurants, 2 minutes from the Floral Pavilion and virtually next door to the cinema... As soon as we walked in, the receptionist (Lisa?) warned us that as it was very warm, they had kept the... More

Me and my husband and two granddaughters aged 5 and 10 stayed here for a couple of nights during the school summer holidays. The hotel and bedroom was spotless. We stayed in the family room which faced the sea, the views were spectacular. The Mersey is a busy river for shipping ,so plenty to look at and plenty to do... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. On arrival I thought we were in for a bad stay due to the grumpiness of the receptionist. She only managed to mutter a couple of words, literally... But luckily the rest of our stay was fine, room was spacious and clean. Beds very comfy. View was brilliant, it was fun watching... More
