My breafast was lovely, nice sausages, crispy bacon.. No blackpudding thank god.. It was hot, well presented and there was a good selection of alternatives. It is dated, however it functional and it's clean.. Reasonable price..

The menu is what you would expect from an eatery that is part of the Flaming Grill chain of pub/restaurants. The food is hot and tasty and the service was relatively fast and friendly. Had to pay extra for some additional gravy for my pudding and mash (even though I explained I needed it because of a medical condition with... More

Couldn't be bothered cooking so popped into a local pub. We weren't greeted by anybody so found a table and sat down to an instantly forgettable meal. What can you expect when the menu has pictures of what the food should look like. OK for a quick dinner but that's it

The Hotel was in a very nice area which had the feel of being in a small village despite being so close to Liverpool. However, please be aware of the Company Policy which resulted in the price of my Room Only Booking increasing from the standard price of £45, which would have been very good value for money, up to... My husband and I have stayed here a couple of times and we love the place. We stayed in room 19 both times and it's a lovely room. I joined the Goodnight inns rewards club and we both get breakfast free or £5 off the room rate each night you stay. Maria who I presume is the hotel manager is... More

Stopped off here for some pub grub with my partner and was soooo glad we did. When we first walked in I was a little confused as some tables said reserved and there was no staff around. Then I found out it's a hotel too hence the reserved tables. Anyways we sat down at the back (gardens out the back... More

Just finished my meal and felt it was time to write my review. Food cooked hot and fresh great quality and good size portions. Lovely environment and friendly staff. The grill sizzling plates are delicious. I had the lamb fillets again which were cooked to perfection. If I had to give a negative it would be that the peas are... More

We booked a double room, located in a quiet area to the rear of the hotel. The room was small but adequate, although I was alarmed by the TV switching itself on spontaneously in the middle of the night. I recommend switching off at the mains! Otherwise a good night's sleep. Evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant were both... More

Had a lovely meal, great service from the staff in the restaurant side of the pub, the food come out quite slow and some meals come out wrong, but was quickly fixed and was very enjoyable. We were told the bar was closing in the restaurant part so the boy serving us offered us to go into the bar on... More
