Wonderful hotel and grounds. We stayed in room 1 overlooking the front of the hotel and there was a bit of slamming of doors as you're over the kitchens but nothing that disturbed a nights sleep. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Staff were also very friendly. Now to the food which unfortunately wasn't as great. We... More

We booked this overnight stay as a deal with dinner included. I requested a quiet room and we were given a room on the second floor at the back of the hotel, overlooking the grounds, very peaceful. It wasn't a large room, but was fine for a night, and good for the price we paid. Our general impression of the... More

WOW!!! What a beautiful setting. What a fantastic building. What delicious food. My husband and I stayed for two nights using virgin experience vouchers. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly but professional receptionist. The check in process was quick and we were soon in our room. The room was large and clean with a lovely en-suite shower room. The... More

If you want a hotel where you can escape away into beautiful countryside Dumbleton Hall is the place to go. The setting is lovely, surrounded by hills and countryside. You feel away from the rush of life and totally relaxed. It is isolated but nearby towns are only a 15/20 minute drive away. The log fire, which was lit all... More

We had bought a voucher for a two night B&B stay and we were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The hotel is elegant and charming, with beautiful grounds and comfortable lounges and bedrooms. We decided to dine both nights and we really enjoyed our three-course meals which were good, old-fashioned British food eg. roast beef and veg the... More

Just returned from an ncrowd £99 B&B and 3 course meal deal. Fantastic location, perfect for a wedding. Well looked after old building with lots of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped bedroom, just a bit hot. BUT...evening meal the worst we have ever had. For a start it was priced on the menu at £30 per head... More

Arriving at this hotel is like entering the large grounds of a National Trust property up a sweeping drive. Parking is right outside and the reception is in a large entrance hall with a lovely open fire blazing (February) and armchairs. Reception staff very friendly and offered help with the cases. Our room was on the second floor but there... More

Have just returned home after a one night stay at this imposing hotel, which was a Christmas present. The hotel is very imposing as you drive through the estate to it. We entered the large reception area, which was warm and inviting. We had a large, 2nd. floor bedroom, overlooking the front of the hotel. The bed was large, and... More
