On our visiting to Bath, we stayed at Dumbleton Hall Hotel for two nights, first reason, it was kind of half way between Leeds and Bath, second reason was the hotel looked so beautiful in the picture – like a fairytale castle! It turns out to be a very nice and quiet place. We had a lovely walk up to... More

Have just returned from a one night stay using a Travelzoo voucher which was amazing value as it included B&B, dinner, a cream tea & prosecco & tapas. We originally booked forJuly but had to cancel because I had a minor operation at short notice. Although the deal was theoretically non-transferable the hotel agreed we could rebook for which we... I stayed here over the weekend. The hotel and grounds are amazing. We had a view over the grounds and lake - amazing! Our room was on the first floor. The only downside was it was directly above a room holding a wedding reception and we heard loud music/base all afternoon and evening from our room. We had dinner and... More

Although fairly isolated you will not regret choosing this hotel. Set within parkland, usually with sheep roaming around the area it is a haven of peace. The gardens and lake are picturesque and there are some wonderful walks. Try the one up the hill and down to the next village when you can enjoy majestic views and then perhaps a... More

Our two night stay was booked via Virgin experience vouchers (long story, hubby's 50th 2 years ago, hot air balloon flights, cancelled repeatedly so exchanged for vouchers) The hotel made a great base for touring the area, so much to do nearby. We visited Sudeley Castle on the way arriving late afternoon, we were a little concerned that there was... More

We were given short break from our daughter and son in law. The hotel was lovely and we had 2 nice days there. The area it is located allows you to visit some of the wonderful Cotswolds scenery. The hall is in lovely grounds and makes a great place to visit.

We have just returned from a two night break to Dumbleton Hall, and enjoyed our stay very much. On our arrival the Hotel looks very impressive as you drive up the drive towards it through the grounds that resemble a country park. On entry to the large reception area, it is obvious this old house has a lot of history... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at Dumbleton Hall which we booked through Virgin experiences for a fraction of the price if we'd booked direct. We just wanted somewhere not too far from home and just for a couple of nights, somewhere new to explore, as we've had a week off work to visit... More

I was given this 2 day short break as a gift from my 2 Aussie friends for my birthday and what a smashing gift this was. Once you turn in to the drive you realise this building is special, the cattle grids give you the feeling of arriving at a stately home. The grounds are simply stunning and the house/hotel... More
