Had Sunday lunch at The Cedar Tree Restaurant in April as a special treat before my husband went into hospital. Left feeling dissapointed, and was not in the mood to taking it further. For the price, the meal was not as expected. The Gloucestershire Roast Beef was "stringy", full of gristle, and veggies soft and tasted reheated. Mentioned to waiter... More

Dumbleton Hall Hotel is a beautiful building, both inside and out. The room we stayed in was very large (big enough for two adults, a travel cot and a large dog) and the ensuite was the largest I’ve ever seen. The hotel is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in your room, but not the public areas (bar etc). There are... More

We stayed here for a friend's wedding reception (one word of advice - if there's a wedding at the hotel and you're not part of it, I would probably stay elsewhere. The wedding definitely took over the various downstairs bars/ sitting rooms and would be difficult to get away from). We paid £100 B&B in advance which was quite good... More

Stayed here for the evening “do” of a wedding, we arrived mid afternoon while the wedding reception was still in progress. We had phoned ahead to check they where still doing food, because of the reception, and they were. It took a little while to attract the attention of a member of staff to place our food order, but that... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a two night stay at Dumbleton Hall during the Easter holidays and I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The setting is just beautiful - a 'quick' walk around the grounds on our arrival turned out to be a 6 mile trek without us realising how far we'd walked. The rooms are... More

Booked a night at this hotel on a late rooms deal the hotel and surrounding gardens were amazing. Excellent value, comfortable large room kingsize bed and sitting area. Good range of foods for breakfast combination of buffet and waitress service. Seating in bar a little shabby.Surrounding gardens a delight. Can recommend this hotel but maybe check if a wedding is booked... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights end of march, it is situated in stunning ground, my only wish was that I had taken better shoes to explore more!!! You deffinately need a car as the hotel is very isolated. There is a large duck pond in the grounds and you can get some bread from reception to feed... More

I booked this through the hotel's website a few days before our stay and we got it at an absolute bargain price. It looked too good to be true, but it wasn't! A fantastic hotel in beautiful grounds. Cheerful, pleasant staff, a bar set in a library and views to die for - wow! Our room, which was on the... More

Fabulous location and very smart hotel - we were thrilled with the large bed/room/bathroom and general decor - so central for the Cotswolds and we could not have had better weather. Wall to wall sunshine without a cloud in the sky - HIGHLY recommended. Quiet rooms and excellent food - we will be going again
