We had stayed here before but without our two terriers.Spent two nights this week and couldn.t fault it.As with other Old English Inns we've visited,the dogs were welcomed and allowed to join us for meals in the bar.Very handy for Bath.Castle Combe and many other places of interest-thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely countryside retreat, warm, comfy, clean and good value for money

Returned again after staying last October. Same excellent staff. Good food and room was fine.

spent two nights 4-5 march at this smashing pub although the car park was chocker when we arrived because of a mtorcycle championship on it was surprisingly quiet. the room was large and clean with all the expected add ons. although the hotel is on the main tetbury road it is relatively quiet. although it was very busy at times.... What a gem! spent 2 lovely nights at this real old english inn. 31st Jan & 1st Feb Great room ,good service,excellent food,lovely staff and management. Pity all the Old English inns are up to this standard.

Traditional country pub with beams and open fire. Good grub and plenty of it. Friendly and over busy staff. Very good value. Rooms comfortable and clean.South Cotswolds outstanding for a varied break though would suggest delaying visit until NT properties and local gardens open (Aprilish).Had a very good time and would revisit.
