Have just returned from a one night stay at Hunter's Hall Inn. The Inn is very conveniently situated for a few wedding venues. It has an Olde Worlde charm, though some parts including the main entrance door are scruffy. We only had a quick lunch which seemed fine and we had a delicious cooked breakfast. However we paid over £100... More

This was a delightful place to have lunch. Have driven passed many times but just hadn't thought to try. Definitely will be going again. We had 2 ham, egg and chips off the 2 for £9.99 menu plus another guest had nachos - all cooked to perfection For dessert we had the "sharing" fairground attraction for 2. This was definitely... Took advantage of offer and got a 2 night break for just under £40 B&B total! For that price it seems to be a bit mean to find fault and on the whole our visit was great. Just to say that if I'd been paying full price I might have wanted the bathroom to have a bit of a spruce... More

An excellent country hotel in a quiet location. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Food and drink are superb and a very good price. Very oldy worldy well worth a visit if only for ameal and drink, though you will be missing out on the lovely and warm rooms available to guests. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at Hunters Hall for the February Half Term Break. When booking any hotel we have certain criteria which we always check out first. They are - "Is it warm and welcoming?" "Are the beds comfortable?" "Is the food to our taste and standard?" "Is there adequate car parking?" "Is the location good?" "Are the staff... More

We had a lovely meal here this evening. We sat in the lounge bar where the fire was roaring and with the candles on the tables there was a lovely cosy atmosphere. The place is clearly popular as it was busy enough to give a nice 'buzzy' atmosphere but not overcrowded. A pleasant surprise!

I see Manager 99 invariably responds, I don't want a voucher but a refund would be good as she knows who I am. 6pm. Our booking 6 months in advance and secured by giving a payment card number was cocked up, such that on arrival after attending a wedding locally, (I was 'father of the bride') we were told we... A family member and I stayed for 1 night in January; I had warned her in advance, but as it turned out, unnecessarily. I am pleased to say that service has improved quite noticably and that on this occasion at least one of the staff didnt even appear to be a teenager .... The rooms are getting a bit tired... More
