We stayed here on the 26th of July as we where visiting family nearby. Upon arrival check in was really easy and our room was easy to locate, 136. The bed was massive and was extremely comfy and as I hadn't slept all week due to the heat this helped a lot along with the air conditioning. Room was very... More

Not your normal Premier Inn, when you first arrive you wonder if you have chosen wisely as the building is either 60's or 70's built. However once you are inside all your fears are removed by the friendly staff and the room we had overlooked the cricket ground which gave it a lovely open feel. The rooms were clean, tidy... More

I stayed here in business for only one night. Upon arriving parking was good and plentiful and check in was quick and efficient. When i entered my room i was EXTREMELY surprised at not only how large it was but about the fact it had an outdoor terrace overlooking a cricket field, fantastic! The bed was very comfortable and there... More

1st stay with Premier Inn - very impressed. Very nice room, would def stay again. Room was clean, quiet, view of the cricket ground. The building does look tired. But every thing was fine for 1 night. Disappointed with wi-fi - and would return. Meet my needs

Apart from finding that we had parked the car in the middle of a large, deep, puddle after a thunderstorm, because of poor drainage in the Car Park, we could not fault this for the price. It is easy to find and conveniently located for exploring the Bristol area

If you are offered room 1A then ask for another, it is next to the stairs so you get noise from people coming and going until the early hours and particularly in the mornng when the early risers get on the road. The ratings I have given are for the accommodation, I wouldn't rate the pub at all. If you... More

Stayed here for one night on business. The building is actually at the rear of the pub so not on roadside and if hadn't been for the satnav I probably would have driven passed. First impression is not great when you drive in, looks a little scruffy and not helped by all the scaffolding. However, there is plenty of parking... More

Good spot to rest your head and tour the surrounding district. The Restaurant, "the Ship Inn" offers good food at rteasonable prices but book in advance as it is rather busy. First stayed here in 1969 when it was a Trust House. It was just as good as we remembered all those years ago.

We use this Premier inn regularly, as it is close to relatives. Yes it is a quirky old motel style building, but the staff are always helpful and friendly, rooms clean and spacious and when purchased the breakfasts good value with lots of space in the dining room areas.

A lovely stopover from Yorkshire to Cornwall. At just over £60 for a family of four including breakfast we are happy. Room was a good size and all ready when we arrived (some other budget chains are more DIY when it comes to extra beds). Reception staff were fab. A wifi problem was quickly resolved with an extra voucher given.... More
