We needed a place to stay from which it was easy to get into Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival. This guest house was just five minutes walk from the train station with very regular trains into the city.We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and the room had a drinks tray and comfortable beds. The en-suite was... More

Clean well appointed room, shared bathroom facilities is a rarity these days but was no problem. Very good value and the location only 20 minutes from the airport for an early morning flight, recommended.

First Class Guest House. My room was a twin with ensuite, spotlessly clean, spacious and warm(room No..1)Breakfast was excellent lot,s of choice. The owner was helpful and friendly. The G.H.is 5 min walk to Inverkeithing Rail Station, very handy for the Airport (747 bus every 30 min only takes 25 min to Airport..very cheap.)A fraction of the price of staying in certain well known hotel chains..and... Excellent location, close to train station to Edinburgh. Owner was friendly enough, we left super early 1st morning, told owner and were given tasty sandwiches all ready made for us to pickup. Breakfast on second day was nice. Massive spider in the room though! It was fine for either Edinburgh trip or Gleneagles, cost a fraction of other hotels and... More

I recently stayed with my three year old son and found the place and owners just perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone as it was simply perfect - wonderful breakfast, brilliant room and very hospitable owners.

Stayed here prior to morning flight. GH well located for this as it is 5 mins walk from Inverkeithing station from where the 747 bus leaves for the 20 min trip to the airport. I found a spotlessly clean room with a nice firm bed & a well appointed en-suite bathroom with a very powerful shower. On check-in I was... More

We booked a family room and a second room for my-inlaws. We had a very pleasant experience. The B&B s in a residential area but within a couple of minutes walking distance of the main railway station so ideal for those looking to commute into Edinburgh without the hassle of renting a car or expensive parking. Room was large, they... More

After locating the premises (A satnav is essential) we were made most welcome by Andrew and his wife. We were then showed to a very comfortable and roomy accommodation in the dorma part of the bungalow. Andrew was also very helpful in giving us assistance in travelling to and from Edinburgh (we had tickets for the Tattoo) to save taking... More

Room was comfortable enough but the welcome from host & hostess was appalling - rude, unhelpful, unpleasant - the worst welcome we've ever had in any B&B or hotel (and we've been in a few) Attitude was extremely unpleasant - no effort to be made welcome - major error was made in the booking which was blamed wrongly on us... Booked online 7 days in advanceand clearly stated on email I would be arriving 9pm or later. Turned up only to find that there was nobody in,nobody answering phones or no contact details. Stood outside in February for 35 minutes and had to head to airport to book into a travel lodge. When I finally got somebody at the end... More
