Had a 3 night break in the cabin, just wanted to relax and get away from work for a change and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. Greeted on arrival and was spoilt with some delicious biscuits too!! The weather was dreadful but that didn't spoil a thing, the cabin was clean, warm and very comfortable. The hot... More

Myself and my girlfriend had a few nights here last week. Apart from some clay pigeon shooting we had no other plans other than to relax. The cabin was clean and had most things needed for a few nights stay. We were greeted by one of the owners who showed us around and how to work the hot tub etc.... More

Great welcome, lovely accommodation, fantastic location, very nice breakfast beautifully cooked and presented, wonderful hosts. We asked Stuart to recommend somewhere for an evening meal, he not only recommended the March Bank hotel and restaurant he also made the table booking for us, if you want a really good game and fish cuisine in wonderful surroundings at a very reasonable... We stayed for 5 nights in the cabin and left feeling refreshed and reenergerised. Stuart met us immediately upon arrival and was very friendly and full of useful information about the surrounding area and things to do. The cabin itself was very cosy and of course the hot tub on the outside decking was amazing. The shower was very warm... More

I can highly recommend this lovely B&B. The owners,Stuart and Joanne, are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and well furnished, my bedroom had excellent storage. The power shower was a pleasure. The view from the bedroom window overlooks hills and their mini lake. My en suite bedroom came with a Kingfisher and Roe deer. The... More

my friend and I stayed at the cabin 7.10.14 - 10.10.14 and loved it. situated in a lovely quiet place. Joanne and Stuart greeted us not long after arriving. we paid the additional £40 for the hot tub and it was well worth it! lovely and clean and very relaxing. only issue we encountered was that the shower wasn't hot... Lovely B&B just a short walk from the river. A very friendly B&B and made me feel at home. I stayed at the last minute when I fancied some fishing and although I didn't take a catch home it was made up for the lovely stay I had. My room was really comfotable and although a single I was surprised... More

We stayed in the cabin which was very clean and furnished with lovely modern furniture. Stuart and Joanne were very attentive. Very relaxing holiday. The new hot tub on the balcony was a bonus, so obviously fealt obliged to try it out with a glass of wine overlooking the lovely surrounding scenery. :)

Thank you to Stuart & Joanne for making my stay absolutely perfect. I have stayed at many hotels & B&B's in many countries in my travels and the North Lodge is the best I have stayed at to date (Trump towers in Chicago, eat your heart out), this place has it all... It was so good to return to the... More

We stayed in the log cabin, although very close in vicinity to the b&b, we had Stuarts assurance that we would have privacy throughout our stay . And true to his word we enjoyed our time in the newly installed hot tub on the veranda , with the most spectacular view of the stars on a clear night , and... More
