Kevin and Jennie were friendly and helpful. The cottage is on the main road but was very quiet and had beautiful views over the fields behind. The room was very clean and a good size. Negative aspects were the shower which was weak and the sound transmission from other rooms was annoying at times. Breakfasts were excellent, we really enjoyed... More

Very good B&B. We stayed in the family 'room', which was really two rooms - one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. It was spacious and clean, with lovely views across the countryside. The hosts, Kevin and Jennie, were friendly, and we enjoyed tasty and substantial cooked breakfasts. The only downside was the shower in the... More

This cottage is absolutely beautiful. Our bedroom overlooked wonderful fields, filled with cows and their calves. Chickens roamed freely and there was a lovely selection of garden birds. Leading from the cottage was our first walk which took us to the ridge. Navigating our way through the fields with cows and sheep was brilliant! Fantastic views although the second day low... More

Stayed here for one night,as we were attending a wedding locally. I cannot understand anyone who moans about this beautiful b&b! The hosts jenny and Kevin were lovely, and our room was light, airy, modern and very clean with a lovely view over the surrounding countryside. We had the best night sleep we've had in a very long time! Breakfast was plentiful... More

Great b&b welcoming hosts and within walking distance of the bulls head & if you feel fit the barrel up on the hill overlooking foolow. Kevin was a mine of info on local walks the first path even within yards of the cottage.

We stayed overnight planning to walk both days. The accommodation is about 10 mins walk in to the village, most of which is on a pavement. Part way along the road is a lay-by which was ideal to park the car while we walked. The pub in the village is very welcoming and serves good food all day. A choice... More

Pleasant remote rural setting, with good views and quiet. Walks from the doorstep across open fields. Pretty garden. Friendly hosts. Excellent plentiful breakfast freshly cooked to order and lots of tea/coffee (and in bedroom). We had a family room with large double bed and 2 twins next door and small shower room/toilet which was fine for us but not plush... More

This lovely B&B is located bang on the A623, so is dead convenient and easy to find, but surprisingly we could not hear any traffic at all from our room, and opening the curtains each morning to reveal a view over the pretty garden and the rolling fields and hills beyond was a total pleasure. There are a few comments... More

A nice little B&B very well situated close to some beautiful countryside. Views from the cottages were lovely. However the rooms are very small and a bit dated. The bathrooms are tiny. The breakfast was okay, but not exceptional. The guests have the use of a little lounge which is good. The hosts were very helpful and there were local... More
