Whilst visiting relatives close by we chose the Foresters Guest House for our overnight stay. We were met by the friendly couple who own the Guest House, and shown to our accommodation on the first floor. A light and airy room, lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. Comfy bed, large flat screen tv,. Kettle, Tea, coffee, even Hot Chocolate, biscuits... More

This was the first time I stayed at the Foresters and what a great place to stay. Met on arrival by Denise and Jim who made me feel very welcome. My room, at the rear was very spacious, spotless and comfortable. The peaceful and warm room enabled me to sleep very well on each of the 6 nights I stayed.... More

My husband and myself stayed here at the beginning of Nov. for our Ruby wedding anniversary and loved every moment. Like home from home and made to feel most welcome. The room we had was excellent with lovely views, very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Evening meals very, very nice indeed. Will return.

Just returned from a very enjoyable weeks stay. We were visiting relatives in the area and they recommended The Foresters Arms. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean. They offer an extensive and very appetising breakfast menu. We also had several evening meals including their very popular Sunday roast. It is such a shame we live nearly 300... More

Our first time to The Foresters and hopefully not the last. We stayed 3 nights and everything was fabulous. Absolutely spot on! Great food in the restaurant and cosy, chic little bar. Denise and Jim are the perfect hosts. Our room was probably the most spacious we have ever stayed in...clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.

Such a lovely little place. We were recommended to stay as we're were attending a wedding at Crook golf club and we needed a b&b. The rooms were lovely (loving the Laura Ashley wallpaper!), very clean and very comfortable. The owners were spot on, very welcoming and helpful (couldn't do enough for you). The breakfast was the best I have... More
