First time here for Sunday lunch and can say we will be back for sure. Choice of 5 meats we chose the pork and it just fell apart on the fork it was lovely. 5 adults and 3 kids all fed to the point we couldn't fit a sweet in all for £45 well what's not to like. Would recommend... More

Had a two night stay here. My room was lovely. King size bed and the room was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for Jim and Denise . The food was delicious. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Will most definitely stay here again on our next visit to Durham! Wishing you continued success. Denna xx

We stayed here in July 2015 as we was attending an event in nearby Hunwick. The Hosts were very welcoming and made us feel welcome immediately. The room we had was massive - Water at the side of the bed and the bed was very big and comfortable. The bathroom had a nice big shower which when tried the following... More

Myself, my husband and 2 children stayed here Saturday 15th August for 1 night. The room was fabulous, very large and contained everything we could possibly have needed. The owners were so friendly and literally couldn't do enough for us to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this guest house to anyone whether travelling alone, as part of a... More

Nothing was too much trouble. It felt like being at home. So comfortable. We were given keys to our room as well as keys to the... More

This lovely guest house was recommended to us and I can see why. The welcome is warm and friendly and the rooms are lovely. Good home cooked food is served to residents and non residents and no better indication of the lovely food and atmosphere is that a lot of the locals eat there. Will definitely be staying again.
