On first look from the car park I was unimpressed, I was staying on a friends reccomendation Once I went inside and met the very helpful friendly staff I was starting to relax The rooms are very comfortable with stunning views of the bay(s) and the evening meal was very good The only issue I had was that there is... 10 of us recently stayed in the 15-bed Ty Canol cottage, owned by the Three Rivers Hotel, which is a 10-minute walk down the road. The 'cottage' (more of a 3 story dream home) is fantastic! Real log burner, fast WIFI, 6 beautiful bedrooms with en suite, underfloor heating, huge dining room, plenty of seating space and an outdoor patio... More

What a shame, really looking forward to our stay. Sadly the Best bit of the stay was the receptionist who was just lovely. Sadly it went down hill from there. The Spa was unloved and very scruffy, neither the hot tub, sauna or steam room were working. Thier was no staff around to ask, in fact apart from the receptionist... More

Within 1/2 of our home and we only stumbled on this little gem. We had a fine meal in the evening with a very reasonably priced good wine, in fact so reasonable we had 1 each. Young Polish/Welsh lady at reception, as well as several other jobs, was extremely helpful. The only downside was that the steam room was never... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous - I had an awesome steak cooked to perfection. The pool was warm, well maintained and I had it to myself :-) The sea view from my room was pretty breathtaking. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely set out. I was on business and the location was perfect... More

We stayed there last weekend for the wedding or our niece and the hospitality was good but we were a bit surprised when we went up to our room. The family room was very spacious but as you entered the room there was a big hole in the ceiling above the door and the bathroom had no barrel in the... More

Called in for a meal as there was no where else to go on this Wednesday evening. The menu matched the decor - well outdated with such things as scampi and gammon on the menu. Poor selection of deserts (only 2 on the list) OK but not somewhere to go for a casual intimate dinner

I booked the Pentre cottage for 7 nights for my family, there are so many reasons we we're really disappointed with the service and quality of this cottage, they are as follows: - dirty floor, BBQ and fireplace - we had to clean ourselves - broken cooker - kept stoping and glass door was dodgy - missing utensils and glassware... We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend.. I only booked it a week before & got the last deluxe room with balcony over looking the estuary. The hotel is doggie friendly, & welcomed our lovely Pomeranian Hugo with open arms. The owner & staff were very welcoming. Our room was better than we expected. It's much harder to find... More
