I know you get what you pay for, and we only needed a cheap room for one night close to Cambridge. But the heat was unreal. Heater in the room just circulated warm air and the window opened about 5 centimeters. This left the room stifling. Kids finally went to sleep at 10pm after spraying them with cold water.

I book this hotel at a very good rate with easytobook (25 pounds a night). Also it is very convenient for the business park on the A14. Room good and clean with lovely big shower and comfy bed as always. Great pub nearby The Golden Ball middle range+ pocket but good service and very good food, atmosphere and decoration. Only one minor point kettle wont fit under handbasin tap so filling awkward mug.
