Walking from Henley to Marlow the Sunday Times suggested popping in here for lunch. It was a really hot day so we sat out in the garden & ordered our food & drink. A pint of orange juice & lemonade was most welcome. Bar snacks limited to sandwiches & burgers but that was fine. Thought prices rather steep but this is... More

As my office is nearby and my wife is on maternity with our 3 month old daughter, we decided to have an overnight stay at the Olde Bell after doing a recce a few weeks earlier. Despite stating that we had an infant on the booking, we were put in a room very difficult to get to, up and down... More

I was lucky enough to experience the Olde Bell on Saturday for an exquisite dinner; the staff and level of service was fabulous and the setting is really quite special. Travelling an hour to get there was worth the magical experience. I shall definitely be back!

Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights with my husband for our yearly getaway and was appalled. We're both elderly and were horrified at the amount of stairs in the Malt House we had to climb with all our luggage, we were obviously struggling and not one staff member offered to help. A tall, dark haired women in a suit,... More

We had a fantastic stay at The Olde Bell, we booked the Luxury room in the Main Inn and Malt House which was truly worth the price. The interior decoration and cleanliness of the room was ideal. We had a bath in front of the window and the comfiest super king bed. Considering my partner is 6'4 and he still... More

Made booking and confirmed one night for 2 adults and one child. Arrived to check in and booking somehow changed to one adult one night. That was just the start of the fun. Ended with ME having to set a place at the breakfast table as the serving staff stood and watched. Not 5 star by any stretch of the... More

We were really looking forward to staying here. The history and area were what drew us to The Olde Bell. I emailed and booked for 2 adults and 1 child. Confirmation stated 1 room for 1 night. Sorted. We arrived and the booking was for 1 adult. I was asked if I needed a bed for "the baby" - my... More

I chose to stay here on a Monday night - choosing it from the recommendations and in preference to a faceless corporate hotel for one night on business. I arrived tired and hungry at 8.30pm. I was told my accommodation was across the car park ( not in the lovely old building, but a new annex with thin stud walls).... More
