Castello di Pavone is an exceptional property. The renovation/restoration of this historic site has been masterfully accomplished. At one and the same time guests have the opportunity to experience the ambience of a wonderful old castle from the Middle Ages but stay in accommodations and eat in a restaurant with all the best that contemporary life has to offer. The... More

I went to visit the amazing eco-community named Damanhur, nestled in the valchiusella Valley of Piemonte, Italy. It was serendipity that I came across this stunning castle that is only 15 minutes' driving distance. I stayed there for several nights and was transported into another time, another life... Immerse in this medieval wonder and experience it for yourself! The services... More

Castello Di Pavone takes you back in time. Such a beautiful castle with so much history and while walking around the castle and grounds you have amazing views of the Alps. Because of our one night stop over we enjoyed the evening dining in the castle dining room which was beautifully set up, the staff were well presented and polite... More

I have been quite disappointed today as I have been refused to visit the hotel and the restaurant. I live 250km away from this hotel in France. Several times, driving on my way to visit clients in Milan, I wanted to stop and get some information for organizing a trip with a group of friends and potentially organize a sales... More

The owners of the castle at different times were influential noble family in northern Italy since ancient times Pavon is the most important wine-producing region of the country, guarding access here in the north-west. In 1885 it was acquired by the Portuguese traveler, painter, sculptor and architect Alfredo d'Andrade (1839-1915). Passionate admirer of Italian culture and history, and architecture of... More

the place is wonderful but people there are dramatically pretentious. it is sad to see that in such a plce no one cares about your needs. they just apply their own basic standards. moreover the place needs refurbishing charm does not mean that you forget cleaning and having rooms in a good condition air condition does not work at all... We chose the suites in the top tower of the castle. There are a lot of stairs!! So, be prepared if you choose the suites. But once you get to your room it is very spacious and beautiful with an amazing view. I have never stayed in such a unique hotel. I felt like Cinderella in my very own castle.... More

Stayed only one night, for a business trip, and surely it made me want to come back for a holiday. The castle is set on top of a hill and at night it looks magnificent, all lighted up. The people at the castle (the hotel) are very welcoming and friendly. The double room has a very comfortable bed with impeccable... More

We visited Castello di Pavone just one night while attending the Battle of the Blood Oranges in Ivrea. If driving, the hotel is only about 7 minutes to the center of Ivrea and made a good base for visiting this crazy orange throwing event! The Castello is a true fortress built in 859 and is surrounded by walls, high on... More
