I stayed at Newfield Hall for two nights with my partner as part of a walking holiday and I cannot begin to tell you how fantastic this place is. From reading other people's reviews, it seems that privacy and internet were the two main concerns. Firstly, the shared mealtimes were fabulous - it gave everyone staying there the chance to... More

stayed here the night after my daughters wedding at the Angel Inn Hetton just to make a weekend of it. wasn't aware this hotel was a walkers hotel as per previous review does have an old peoples home feel about it. Breakfast was interesting sat at big round tables with other people not what I would want. (and at a... More

Like the previous reviewer, we booked this accommodation in a bit of a hurry as it was the only place left on booking.com near Skipton on the date we were looking at. There was only one room left according to the website, so we booked it and hoped for the best. First thing to point out is that Newfield Hall... More

Newfield Hall is great for groups and OAPs, however, I would not recommend it to friends or family as it has the feel of an old people's home, there is little privacy at meal times and rooms come without a phone or the internet. Meals: Guests have to eat dinner at a set time (ordering meals hours in advance) and... More

This was my second stay at Newfield Hall and once again it proved to be relaxing, tranquil with wonderful food and service. My first visit was in June last year when I walked the Dales Way and I was so impressed with the whole experience that I became a share holder of HF Holidays who are the owners. On this... More

Stayed for one night on a whim and loved it. The house was amazing, the room lovely and spotless and the staff exceptional. Buffet food not suitable for children but we managed. The local area was beautiful with Malham cove just down the road and lots of great countryside to explore on our bikes. Would thoroughly recommend for walkers as... More

I stayed for three nights at Newfield Hall in October 2013. The manager and his staff went out of their way to be helpful, allowing me to make a long-distance phone call (the hotel strangely has no public telephone, and I hadn't a cell phone), and to take breakfast early each morning. I was visiting from overseas and had no... More

I stayed here several years ago as part of a walking holiday with HF Tours and the thing that sticks in my mind the most was an absolutely tranquil quiet night and the most beautiful view from my window in the morning, with mists over the dales. I had arrived fairly late on a Friday evening, by taxi from Skipton... More
