We had spent the day, the whole day walking inn the beautiful hills, dales and moors around Malham and had planned to be at the Cove at sunset. We arrived at the Buck, went to the Hikers Bar, got a great welcome, an excellent pint of Theakston's and had some excellent veggie food. Goats cheese and caramelised Onion tart, which... More

Good welcome on arrival. Four poster bed in room but the darkest room I've ever slept in. Had to dismantle the shades from bedside lamps in order to see anything. Clean shower room but, being a walker, would have preferred a relaxing bath to have been available rather than just a shower. But the food was excellent and, in my... More

My wife and I found this Inn by accident, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the staff were really helpful and naturally friendly. The room was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep for ages. The area was a walkers paradise with a walk for all types of walkers.... More

We found the hotel during an internet search and have found the description accurate. The B&B is set back over a stream (doggy heaven) which is not deep. The gardens are lovely as well Staff: really nice team a warm welcome and helpful. Accommodation: great four poster bed room with sky TV and free internet access, bed very comfortable Noise:... More

We made a last minute reservation, not being able to get the place we wanted in Malham, (there's only two). When we arrived and signed in, we were taken to a single room with a double bed inside. What made it worse was that later other guests showed us their room with a 4 poster that they were paying less... More

We stayed here for 2 nights 14th and 15th July... We were rather impressed with this place as we stopped for a pint here a couple of years previous and vowed to spend some time here. Being a Theakstons pub it is not unreasonable to expect the availability of some Theakstons beer! We arrived to the barmaid offering us a... More

We ate in this pub on two consecutive nights whilst camping in Malham. It was pretty busy on both nights due to the world cup football matches. The staff were nonetheless very friendly and the service was fast. We had the roast of the day and a game pie on the first night both of which were superb. Having given... More

We booked a twin for one night only as we were walking Week 1 of the Pennine Way and were treated to a large suite with one huge, comfy double in the main room and another in a private space behind a curtain with its own facilities. The bathroom was luxurious, right down to the standard of the toiletries, and... More
