We stayed at the room in the vineyard. Only five minutes away from the main hotel and in middle of a vineyard surrounded by vines. Large modern self catering apartment. Each apartment has some outside space with sun lounger and chairs. The small pool is shared but not overlooked by any of the apartments.

We have just stayed 4 days at this wonderfull hotel, where Claudia and her always freindly and smiling staff did everything to please the guests. We almost felt us as part of the family. They have a pool area with a Picturesque view over the walley. A fantastic stay where you are sad to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We rented the Apartment San Bovo, located in the House in the Vineyard - what an apartment and what a great place! The house itself is situated in such a perfect spot, with amazing 360-degree views of the valley and hilltop towns. We loved our drives through the vineyards and were constantly freaked out about... The albergo castiglione is operated by the Saracco family, which is also the main moscato wine producer in the area, so don't miss to ask for factory tour and take some bottles home. The hotel also offer some apartments with fuly equipped kitchen, perfect if you want to be independent. Easy day trip distance to Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco, great view... More

We stayed for a five days and enjoyed it tremendously. The hotel is located in a fairly sleepy city providing a great scene for relaxing and enjoying neighboring cities and restaurants. The rooms are nice, elegant and reasonably prices. The service and the helpfulness of the staff is extraordinary helping out with any task including restaurant booking. The pool located... More

We had from booking to check-out, the most fabulous service by all staff members. Kind, service minded and thoughtful of our well-being. The hotel seems very nice and situated in the sweetspot of fabulous Italian wine. We stayed a week in the apartments of the hotel - about 4,5 km from the hotel in the winefields. It is a beautiful,... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights to look around this beautiful area. The hotel is small but charming and the staff are very attentive and helpful, speaking excellent English. The rooms are extremely well equipped with attention to detail. Coffee and tea facilities are replenished regularly. The pool area is a bit of a walk away, but well worth... More

We expected to have a nice stay at the Albergo but were still pleasantly surprised by their attention to detail. First, the staff are very good - professional, friendly and thoughtful. They booked us in for wine tours and restaurants, and gave us good advice on where to eat/buy wine. They also called us in advance to confirm the reservation... More

We stayed for just the one night around 2 weeks ago en route to Tuscany and it was a unique and unforgettable experience. The location seems remote and you do need a car but if you want to switch off from modern life and truly relax then this is a place for you. We had a 2 bedroom ground floor... More

The Albergo Castiglone is a fantastic hotel, very small (only about 10 rooms) but with an excellent service and very clean, nicely decorated rooms. We got a free upgrade to a room with balcony for our 4-nights stay. The hotel is a bit far off the larger cities. In Castiglone Tinella there is only 1 restaurant (which is offering good... More
