We stopped here overnight while driving north from Wellington. Overall the room was quiet, clean and fair sized with living room and bedroom. It was also tired with bathroom wall paint chipping and 70's decor. We just stopped when we were tired rather than booking ahead and I could not help but think we paid full fare as a result... More

As you enter Levin from the north there are a slew of motels on the left hand side. What you don't realise is that they back onto the railway. It's nota busy line butthere are trains. SH1 is also a very busy road all the time. We spotted a sign to a quiet motel up a drive on tje rhs... More
