A tastefully restored building in scenic Petralia Soprana that has been converted into a very welcoming and comfortable hotel. The biggest selling point is undoubtedly the staff - who were genuinely eager to help make our family's stay a pleasant one. I highly recommend it!

We spent two nights here in the spring of 2015. It is a lovely, pristine hotel in a gorgeous small mountain village in the Madonie mountains. The staff arranged for a guide for our short hike in the Madonie through the Associazione Vivi le Madonie. Our guide was delightful and brought along a delicious rustic lunch. Very pleased with our... More

Hotel Residenza Petra has it all! Excellent location in the center of town, spotlessly clean rooms, good WiFi connection, great breakfast, and above all, helpful, friendly staff! There is not a dedicated parking lot for this hotel but there are several options nearby. A hotel staff member e-mailed suggestions for parking and we didn't have any problem. We had a... More

There's only so much a small hotel in a very small town can do, but this hotel does its utmost and everything about it is quite good. The rooms are a bit sparse, and the computer/tv is funky, but wifi on phones and iPads was just fine. Shower and beds were quite fine. The building inside and out is excellent... More

Tastefully renovated, this hotel provided a welcome and warm retreat. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was very comfortable and there were also a couple of spaces to sit and chat - not always the case in small hotels such as this one.

Yes, it's the only hotel in town, but it's also a lovely place to stay. The only drawback to staying in this town, is that there is also only one restaurant here, and it was fully booked. We ended up eating snack food for dinner, from a bar and a pastry shop. The hotel is spotless and well equipped. The... More

We were a photo crew of nine shooting a story about the Targa Florio and because of scheduling sadly only got to spend one night at this sublime little hotel. Impeccably clean and comfortable with an attentive staff that sent us round the corner to one of the best meals ever eaten anywhere in Italy! A magic evening and a... More

We were in Sicily last month and a stay at this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. Petralia Soprana is a small, charming town with cobblestone streets where in the evening you can sit in a cafe at the town square and watch the world go by along with all of the residents of this quaint village.... Only had the one night at this lovely 3 star hotel. Although in an old villa, it's a new hotel, and as you would expect, clean, tidy and functional. The front desk always play such an important role in a hotel. At this hotel, those members of staff excel. In our case, it was service with a smile and that... More
