Ok first off, make sure you rent an SUV and get the GPS; you're going to need it. I drove from SJO and google maps did not work but thankfully I played it safe and got the GPS. Also make sure you type in the hotel exactly as it's listed here. When I was about 8km away, I realized the... More

GORGEOUS rainforest views right out the window. We paid a little extra for a master suite #25. I'm a professional photographer and even after spending days hiking around looking for the best photo locations, but one of the best shots I took the whole trip was right out my hotel window. Wi-fi was surprisingly good for such a remote location... More

We had a great time in this lovely hotel! The stuff was very friendly and helpful giving the advices about what to do in the area. We were welcome with a fruit cocktail which we enjoyed at the pool admiring an amazing view of the Arenal lake and volcano. The breakfast was very good and included in the room rate.... More

We stayed only one night, the beds were comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the restaurant good. The free breakfast was really nice. The rooms are quite outdated and could really use a makeover. That said, the view of the volcano from our balcony was so amazing, the outdated room wasn't such a big deal.

The hotel was an amazing Gem. ROOMS: beds were large enough, and overall rooms were fairly tidy. A bit outdated but we weren't looking for 5 star quality so fit my expectations. Bathrooms were clean and only had showers (no tub) with a curtain separating you from the toilet. I believe each room had a balcony and definitely expect some... More

The pictures of the view of Arenal sold me on this place. Beautiful setting with incredible lake and volcano views. Great service, very friendly folks, A very nice pool and hottub. Rooms are very big but lack comfortable seating but you don't spend much time in the room. Food is pretty good at the restaurant but the menu selection is... More

We spent Two very comfortable nights here. The hotel is situated on a hill looking across to the volcano. We had a suite with patio doors opening onto the garden with views of the lake and the garden. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the food in the restaurant is very good. We couldn't get wi- fi in our... More

Spent 2 days in a large and comfortable junior suite (stunning views of volcano Arenal) at this quiet, relaxing and well run place. Located up on a hill this resort provides great views of both volcano and lake Arenal and surrounding forests- far away from busy La Fortuna. For getting there 4WD- car is helpful, but not essential. Volcano Arenal... More

This hotel is in a beautiful location offering panoramic views. The rooms are large & simply furnished but the bed was very uncomfortable. The restaurant food is quite good. The hotel is quite a long way up a track so you are a little bit captured for their restaurant as it is rather a long way to keep travelling up... More
