My friend and I stayed here for 3 days while in La Fortuna... we choose it for the views of the volcano and the lake (can't be beat) and for the included full breakfast and kinda "away from it all" location... We wanted to be in a tranquil location so this hotel met our needs perfectly! The staff, especially Anna,... More

My family and I rented 2 rooms for one night at this lodging, it was in a SUPER location. There are numerous activities close by such as The Butterfly Conservatory ,Zipling,Hiking trails,ATV adventures and Hot Springs. The rooms were very good with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and very spacious. Our room had a ceiling fan and windows which were huge... More

Picture yourself in the hot tub, overlooking the infinity pool and lake next to the volcano. It felt like we were in a lodge in the mountains. The rooms were nothing spectacular, but spacious and comfortable. The views from the rooms WAS spectacular. Breakfast was good, eating overlooking the lake was just the best way to end our stay. I... If you're going to see the volcano or do Sky Limit tours, this is the best spot to spend the night(s). The location is key, pool & hot tub are top notch, and it is family owned. They were extremely hospitable and I felt they were genuinely happy to have me there. They even asked me to be in an... More

A rustic feel, the hotel was a comfortable stay for wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The views are incredible, the pool and hot tub were warm and inviting. The food was mediocre and the service was nice. The room accommodations were what you would expect from a hotel that is away from... More

Their view is incredible. But the room they initially gave us was not what I'd purchased given the photos & description on Hotels.com. It was a pretty basic room & had no relationship to what was posted. My biggest concern was to have the pillowtop mattress due to a medical issue. When I asked, they said that they wanted to... Stayed here and paid extra to get the volcano view. In theory, that would be great if it didn't rain the entire time we were there. Rooms were pretty basic but fine...it's Costa Rica remember. The power went out during the middle of the night so we didn't have A/C. We had dinner at the excellent restaurant on site and... More

The views are amazing, the rooms are, well, not what we expected from all the reviews here. They shopped at the "uncomfortable store" and ordered premium line… like sleeping on wood, the pillows were lumpy and hard. Don't think you are going to sleep past sunrise - the roosters take care of that… The food is really expensive at the... More
