Lovely place with excellent staff! You can see the volcano from the pool and overlooks Lake Arenal. Food was amazing and close to the National Parks and Lake Arenal. Beautiful pool and hot tube which was nice to soak in after long days of hiking the national parks nearby. Staff helped with translating and directions.

We stayed here for one night in order to go zip lining at Sky Adventures. We sprung for the Jr. Suite because we wanted air conditioning. So glad we did. The view was amazing & outweighed the negatives. We were greeted by the friendly desk clerk. She even had fruit smoothies for us on our arrival. Nice touch! She gave... More

The view from our patio was fabulous. Although we never saw the top of Arenal, we still had a fabulous view of the volcano and the lake. Picture perfect. We were in a junior suite. I loved the room set-up with a double and 2 twins- so much better for our family with 2 teenagers. However, the out of doors... More

Hotel Linda Vista has great location and very scenic. It is little far from main town La Fortuna. But its worth it! Staff was friendly . Restaurant was nice. Rooms were OK. They can improve the rooms especially some amenities in the room, shower and bathrooms.

We stayed here in a triple room for three rainy days in December. We were pretty happy not to have sprung for the suite with a better view, as the volcano was under a cloud cover the whole time. That being said, of it had been hot and sunny, the triple room would have been miserable, as there are no... More

guests in the bungalow next to us were being very loud at midnight. While they toned it down slightly when I asked them, they kept me awake until 2:30am. There was no assistance from the hotel. When I asked the front desk about quiet hours and whether they'd pass the message to our neighbors, they said I should tell them... More

We had no issue with the road up. The views of the volcano and lake were excellent and rough driving is often what it takes to enjoy great views. Pros: aforementioned location, and it was quiet enough. Pool in a lovely perch, albeit needing a paint job. Cons: indifferent staff, stuffy room, mediocre breakfast. Not so comfortable bed. Slick shower... More

Room was very clean and staff was friendly. We were lucky to have a clear morning view of Arenal. Amazing! We could lay in bed and look right up at the volcano spewing smoke. Grounds are well kept. Good views of the lake too. Birds everywhere and I enjoyed seeing and hearing the cows from the balcony. In the area,... More

My 3 girlfriends and I arrived at the hotel by way of private taxi. Unfortunately I do not remember the sweet girls name at the front desk but she had fresh smoothies waiting for us. She asked us what we would like to do while in the Arenal area and made sure that we had everything booked that we would... More

I've traveled all over Costa Rica and this is a hidden Gem with the most spectacular views of the lake and volcano, the staff is excellent and one of my favorite hotels. You will need to go about 5 miles up a dirt road to get here but the road is maintained well and with large tractors for leveling. If... More
