Not quite what we expected. The island of Mararita is a beautiful place except for the garbage all over the island,this we found very discouraging. Our place of stay ( Trudel Gardens) was not what we expected either. The place needed gardening very badly. The beds were, I don't know how old and smelly. hot water was only in the shower and that could not be regulated. The furniture in the livingroom was two single beds that smelled like the family pet after coming in from the rain. Our toilet DID NOT FLUSH for two weeks and had to be bailed out daily. The manager found fit to come and see us on our last day there and seemed very unconcerned about our problems. Thats not our style of vacation, it was though our last trip to Margarita. Possitively though the beaches,food at the restaraunts were great, the weather was fine and warm and the island was a very inexpensive place to visit.
