I was able to get an online deal for an "apartment room" at this hotel, about 82 EUR per night including breakfast. The hotel is clean, there is a huge swimming pool, very clean, also used for a fitness package for residence (check out pool hours). However, if you go on during a very hot season, prepare to sweat. There... More

This somewhat mix of a hotel was really good. Very clean, the staff had a smile, the rooms are large and everything was ok. The only thing that makes me not giving this a five star is that in fact that this is a combined institution. One or two of the floors are somewhat a rehab , and the rooms are much... More

This place was a real find. Durbach, the small village it is located near, is a real treat for walking and dining. Behind this hotel is an extensive system of trails that meander through a heavily wooded area. I loved walking there. On one such walk I ran into a kindly couple who invited me to have a drink with... More

I found a rate of 49 euros from the HRS online travel agency and, at that price, no complaints. The hotel is a bit odd; as has been mentioned before, it was apparently a rehabilitation facility at some points. It still feels a bit like that, especially the hotel bathrooms. Aside from this institutional feel, the hotel is good though.... More

I visited this hotel with a group of friends and colleagues in November and I think it is worth mentioning how great it was. We stayed there about four nights, after an exhausting trip and many wuarrels with the travelling agency (not the hotel's fault). The hotel proved to be a wonderful surprise. Though it is quite far from any... More

Durbach can be rainy in September and then the outside becomes hard to notice and you have focus on the inside of your hotel. This one has a touch of Overlook hotel on it. It is very large, with long corridors that are dark and silent in the night. The rooms are large and functional. With maybe too functional bathrooms.... More

I visited Durbach and Hotel VierJahreszeiten for a conference. The hotel does not look very good on the outside (big concrete block in the picturesque area of wineries and beautiful nature), but it is clean, has all the facilities you need and the staff is very friendly. I mean really great staff, that is the only reason why I gave... More

This hotel/restaurant used to be a mother/child recuperation clinic. There is a lovely terrace for al fresco dining, and there a a number of rooms for conventions, as well as a very pleasant room, which serves as a restaurant. The only annoying thing is that the light bulbs in the lamps are extremely bright and blinding. The food tasted great.... More

The rooms are spacious and reasonable. The double room has 2 separate rooms. It's a little out of the way but the bus leaves from out front about every hour. The staff are friendly & helpful. There's a nice bar downstairs.
