We had originally booked another hotel, which closed a few days before we were due to go, so it was very much an unknown quantity. Loved the location, set back from road and the landscaped gardens/grounds reached directly down to the beach. Pool area great and very quiet with nice bar close at hand. Yes, the beds are on the... We stayed at the adele mare in september very disappointed its like going back in time. on entering the bedrooms the mattress where on concrete blocks. The bathroom has a on the wall hairdryer which is no good for women with long hair and a handshower. going down for breakfast if you like onion rings and watered down fruit juice.... More

I'd bet that the Adele Mare was the queen of the beach back in the 50's. Maybe it's lost a step, but retains much of the charm. My wife and I prefer this type of hotel to the newer, generic sterile places that tend to get 4 star ratings. This place has the classic Mediterranean appearance: white stucco with red... More

I stayed at this hotel for my honeymoon, and I was disappointed. I would like to compliment the hotel and their cleaning stuff as the rooms, the restaurant, the lobby and all the outdoor territories were very clean. However, all the other aspects of the hotel could use lots of improvements. First of all the food was less than acceptable,... More

We stayed in this hotel because it was one of four recommended hotel options that we were given for our son's destination wedding. The rooms look exactly like the pictures on the hotel website. They are spartan and not luxurious at all. The beds are hard and the pillows are soft, but we had no trouble sleeping with the sound... More

just returned from fab stay at adele mare with my husband, 4 kids and my parents. Must say on reading some of the comments before we left we were quite worried about what it would be like. We had a fantastic time, the rooms are on the small side but plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, the... More

We have just returned from a week at the Adele Mare. The hotel and surrounding "Bungalows" (some are 3 storey high) are set in very well kept and beautiful grounds. Our ground floor room was beside the beach and very comfortable. All the rooms have a balcony or private terrace, are spacious and equipped with a telly, fridge and self... More

The Hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and it is positioned perfectly. Ideal for a relaxing holiday, very quiet with a nice pool. There are some major problems though: The beds are extremely hard The food quality is reasonable, but the choice is very very small We weren't able to eat outside, the terrace was closed (and... My family and I have just arrived home after a wonderful holiday at the Adele Mare. I spent much time choosing the hotel and having read two of the recent reviews I was somewhat apprehensive. I needn't have been, because the Adele Mare turned out to be the perfect choice. Some years ago my wife was local organiser for mystery... More

To be fair, reading previous reviews, it depends on what rooms you book, we booked the sea view rooms which I believe are slightly larger especially the bathrooms, albeit there was only my wife and I so the spare single bed was used as a settee. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily (first class), the food was good... More
