The owner (which speaks english well, hard to find in Corse) upgrade us because we had a lot of luggage, it was nice of hers. We had like 6 suitcases...well we travel throughout Corsica for almost a month, we reached the Island by ferry, we live in Brazil so....it was gentle. The owner is TOO preocupied with everything all the... More

Dear Ms Reis, Thank you very much for your nice words concerning the hotel, its location and our services (and for the nod to Thierry ;-)). Concerning your negative remarks on my attitude (Valerie), be sure that I'm very very sorry to have been the cause of your dissatisfaction. You arrived the first day of our opening and I should... This small boutique hotel is built around spectacular rocks and vegetation indigenous to the area in Corsica. The rooms with magnificent views are ultra luxurious and the facilities extensive. You can lounge around a heated infinity pool on sunbeds, wallow in a jacuzzi, swim briskly in a cold water pool or pay attention to your abs in the small but... More

Just spent 2 nights here in a garden comfort room. We would have preferred a deluxe but as is turned out, the comfort room was great. Very comfortable beds etc, no bath but a good shower and views down into the valley and of the hills on the other side. We ate lunch and dinner here both days as seemed... More

I can't give this anything other than a 5 star review. This was the first stop of our honeymoon. We were greeted on arrival with a very generous gift and settled in to what ended up being a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant. Food and service were both great but one thing we really appreciated was the time taken... More

As others have said the setting or this hotel is very nice. the roads are a bit hard as we arrived late in the evening after a ferry ride. the welcome was great and we got dinner that night which I had requested. The room was pleasant, but not magnificent. The second night the cook disappeared and the kitchen was... More

Dear guests from New Zealand... First of all thank you for sharing your experience with us and for giving us the opportunity to improve our services.... I feel very ashamed of the situation that would have never happened. You are absolutely right there was a big communication issue here. Although the information is written in each room, the person who... More

We arrived at the hotel after an anxiety and adrenaline fuelled drive up from the coast, which offered views that were simply breathtaking! Greeted knowingly by the lovely receptionist we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble from the moment we walked through the door. We were left in awe as we made the short walk through... More

As you drive through Monticello, and further on up the hill, the air cools and the stress of everyday life seems to diminish. Just look for the A Piattatella signs, and keep following, ever upwards. The hotel is quiet, stylish, clean and very well-presented. This is no faceless corporate behemoth. Created and run by the owner, and with just 17... More
