We stayed for 2 nights in the dorm, the beds are ok, but there is a rat family in the roof. The portions of the food are too small and the staff is more interested in watching their phones and paying attention to the cats instead of the guests. It was also really hard to find help in organizing the... More

We had a great time here, its a great location and perfect for visiting the orang utans and sun bears (free shuttle bus). We had a wooden hut with sliding doors opening directly on to the rainforest - so relaxing to lie on the bed looking out - and also had air conditioning which I wasn't expecting.. The outdoor shower... More

We had a great time at Panganakan Dii. The wooden huts are situated above a jungle and provide a lovely view. The common area was nicely set-up and the food was good. We especially were appreciative that the employees helped us book our stay at The Last Frontier Resort, as they were difficult to get in contact with. Highly recommend... More

We really enjoyed the couple of nights we spent at the Paganakan Dii. Rooms are basic but the setting is lovely. We stayed in a wooden hut that had a fan and air conditioning, but there were also huge sliding doors that could be pulled open to over look the jungle. Bring lots of bug spray and a torch. Location... More

A great spot in the hjlls overlooking jungle and palm oil plantation. Cabins were rustic, but beds comfortable and thankfully no TV! Range of accommodation here including long house with dorm type. Have to book for lunch and dinner, otherwise breakfast is order when you turn up. If busy there can be a bit of a wait. Staff very friendly... More

Such a relaxing place! Stayed in a large dorm, the beds where very comfortable and it was well equipped with fans. Convenient for hanging up mosquito nets too (recommended top bunks). Shower and washing facilities very good!. Hammocks and lounging facilities are also supplied, so you can relax and watch the sun rise with a good book. Surrounding area insanely... More

This place was a dream, and despite being quite expensive I initially thought it well worth it. It's in the middle of the jungle, and has a number of activities including fishing, feeding deer, and admiring their many caged creatures. However the wifi was abysmal. And I mean barely worthy of being turned on. And the food was over priced,... More

Paganakan Dii provides a stunning environment and place to explore the local area, including Sepilok (Orangutans), Labuk Bay (Proboscis Monkeys) and a river cruise in the jungle. Don't come expecting 5 star luxury, but come with a open mind and be prepared to see the jungle first hand, and eat basic, but sound food.

We originally booked to stay for 2 nights, but we're able to increase to 3 nights at short notice. All booking was arranged via email from the UK and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was like heaven with a sliding door that looked over rainforest views with hornbills flying in the distance. We enjoyed sitting on the... More

This was one of the best hotels/hostels I have ever stayed at. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the food was great, and the rooms and showers comfortable. The restaurant/common area is really spacious and the main reason I got the chance to meet so many of the other guests. I had a wonderful time... More
