We stayed three nights at the newton farmhouse. The breakfasts were outstanding, lots of fresh fruit salad, thick creamy yogurt, delcious cooked breakfast of whatever you wanted, and lots of choices on the breakfast bar. Very friendly owners. This is the most charming place I've ever stayed. So pretty and just a joy to stay there. We celebrated our 20 wedding anniversary here and couldn't have picked a better spot. To me a B&B should be family run, friendly, unpretentious and welcoming, and with a top-notch full english breakfast. Newton Farmhouse has all of these. We stayed for two nights, visited friends, ate at local pubs (recommended by our hosts), and came back to a lovely comfy bed (four-poster).
