We have spent a week at Nigel’s B&B at the end of August/beginning of September 2015. We stayed in a Levander room, which was very cosy with comfy bed, very large windows and lovely views of the countryside. No noisy surroundings, no noisy roads, no building sites … Only meadows, fields, trees and geese opposite our windows  The room... More

We had the pleasure to be Nigel's guests at the Orchard Manor in Probus, small village close to the more famous Truro, last week of July 2015. The linen is of very good quality, the towels are more than enough for two people and the room is functional and extremely well cleaned like the rest of the house. You also... More

We stayed here for the weekend and received a most warm and wonderful welcome from Nigel. The room was just fantastic and clean with a wonderful view of the Cornish countryside. Nigel is very friendly and besides cooking a delicious breakfast, he serenaded us to Blue Moon with his accordion. A true Cornish welcome! I recommend anyone and everyone to... More

We were welcomed at the door and shown to a room that had massive windows to see out to the lovely countryside. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Loved the super comfy bed and bedding. Towels were big and nicely warmed on the towel rack. We were left with a couple of beers, tea/coffee fresh milk and a few... More

I stayed here on business and received a very warm welcome from Nigel. After a long drive it was nice to see a couple of beers waiting for me in the fridge, along with ample snacks to go with my cuppa. A small but nice touch was fresh milk for the tea, how many b&b owners drink those that awful... More

Once again (third time now) Nigel surpassed himself with friendliness of service, flexibility with timings, and his top of the line accommodation, with all mod cons. I come to Truro a lot and wouldn't stay anywhere else now. Probus is a quiet little village no more than 25 minutes (if that) from Lemon Quay, its small but theres a decent... More

Lovely big room, well suite really. Living area, huge bed and kitchen area. Superb bathroom with high powered shower and jacuzzi bath. Fresh milk supplied with plenty of tea and coffe in kitchen. Patio area with good views. Friendly host and good breakfast. Although used for business would say it is well positioned for those exploring Cornwall by car.

We would like to thank Nigel for a wonderful stay and for being such a great host from the welcoming smile we received when we arrived to the moment we left. He couldn't have done any more for us. Not to mention cooking one of the best breakfasts every morning fresh on his AGA. We were there under unfortunate circumstances... More

Just spent 3 days at this quiet cosy property. Over from Australia this place matches the area just fantastic. Travelled down by train an used public transport into truro as the bus stops right out the front. Dinner in the evening each night a 3 minute walk to the top of town to the hotel, this matched the area friendly... More
