I've been to St. Martin 9 times but staying at Cap Caraibes was the best...the island is called a friendly island and it is....the French food is terribly tasty but a litle expensive. The hotel is 30 seconds from the beautiful, calm Orient Beach.....I would go back in a heartbeat....my girlfriend and I were there 6 months ago on a... more

We booked 6 nights through Expedia and got a great deal. We were not disappointed. We drove from the airport to the hotel. Getting to Orient Bay was easy enough, but finding the hotel was a bit tricky. The signs for Cap Caraibes are at the bottom of the list of signs, covered by brush. My suggestion: follow the signs... more

We stayed at the Cap Caraibes from Nov. 2nd thru Nov. 10th. The location is in a quiet mid section of Orient Beach behind the Wakiki beach club and restaurant. Transportation to the hotel from the airport took about 40 minutes at a price of $30 plus tip. As described in other posts on this forum, the rooms are very... more

Thank you to all of you who have written reviews about Cap Caraibes - It was mostly as described. Everything was in working condition, but definately about a 3 star hotel. Nice but not perfect. I don't really recommend the hotel for a toddler. While they did provide a pack 'n play type crib, there was no good way to... more

This hotel itself was pretty nice. The rooms were simple and the kitchenette was pretty well stocked. The beach was beautiful. However, the reception closes at 7:30 and they have a "security guard" on duty (which we did not know about until later). Someone tried to break into our room one night, we were on the ground floor. As we... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at Cap Caraibes from May 6-11. We are 24 and 21 respectively. We stayed in a 3rd floor room with a limited ocean view (as much as you are going to get here!). You could see some water and hear the surf, but it was still nice. As stated on here, 1st and 2nd floor... more

We just returned from a 1 week stay (5/3 to 5/10) at the Cap Caraibes. The room is the same as you see online. Ours was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The mini kitchen was adequet with what we cooked. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on while on vacation. (firm) Our room was on the... more

Just back from one week at Cap Caraibes. We stayed on the second floor overlooking the pool. It was quiet and clean., and absolutely no musty smell. The room is just as it appears on line. Weather a bit cloudy at first, but then gorgeous. We were told it had been a strange "winter"-cooler and more rain than usual. Location... more

We just returned from St Martin and stayed at Cap Caraibes. When we first checked in I walked to our balcony on the 2nd floor(building 3) and my view was the back of the Waikiki Bar(with 3 guys working looking right into our room), The description said we would have a view of a pool or vegetation. The view was... more

My husband and I just returned from an amazing week in St. Martin! We have stayed at 3 other different resorts and found the Cap Caraibes to be the very best! If you want a truly French experience, and are not expecting to be spoiled with typical American tourist amenities, this is the place for you. In spite of the... more
