Margaret & Brian were very welcoming. As the weather was terrible we were not able to enjoy all the facilities, however, the location is good and very convenient for Salisbury and Stonehenge. We would gladly return here.

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived for our weekend stay. We stayed in the annex which was adequate for 3 of us. The mill and location were lovely. The cooked breakfasts and the kippers were as good as you get. We stayed so we could visit longleat and stonehenge which are both close by. There are some wonderful... More

I first found the Old Mill House in 2007 and stayed on a regular basis for two and a half years, I enjoyed it so much. The location offers open views of the surrounding countryside, woodland/river walks and three pubs within walking distance, which all serve food. The hosts, Maggie and Brian, are friendly and make you feel welcome. Maggie's... More

This is a clean, pretty, small B&B in a nice location, on main road from Wilton. On opening the front door, the dogs immediately rushed out but didn't see them at all after that. Maggie immediately whisked me round the place, showing me the bedroom and breakfast room without waiting for my partner to join us. A bit bewildering and... More

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst on a flying course at Old Sarum. Arrived tired so Maggie pushed a beer into my hand and sent me off to the garden to chill whilst she made supper. I am told there is great pub food nearby, but to be honest, I could not be bothered and Maggie made fantastic Pheasant... More

We stayed for one night and were very pleased by the the owners they did the service and cooking perfect. The breakfast was perfect and individual cooked for each of us and the house is very nice decorated - old mill and very original. We also liked the recommendation for the local dinner in a very good pub and the... More

I stayed in the "apartment" suite with my mother and although small it had everything we needed. The apartment opens up onto the large mill pond area with fantastic views. The hosts were superb and made us so welcome, we had my son and his girlfriend in tow and although they weren't staying they were made to feel welcome to... More

We stayed at the Old Mill House for 1 night. We received a very warm welcome and were shown around the property before making a nice cup of tea in our room and enjoying this in the lovely outside garden. The B&B is on the main road and even though our bedroom was at the front of the house you... More

Booked this wonderful hotel for my girlfriends birthday and we had the most perfect weekend there. It's run by a lovely couple Maggie and Brian. Both very friendly and welcoming. Maggie even agreed to blow up some ballons that I sent down and had them hung up in the room ready for when we got there. The food is fantastic,... More

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a very warm welcome, a great location, a very scenic and historical setting, and fantastic breakfasts! Maggy was a tremendous host! I would definitely stay here again.
