We stayed here a few nights while visiting Salisbury. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms and tasty breakfasts. Our hostess Maggie was extremely welcoming and friendly. The house was conveniently located near Salisbury proper and Stonehenge as well. We would highly recommend the Old Mill House!

Maggie is a wonderful host! The Old Mill is very quaint, cozy and in a great location. We each had the full breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. Juices, tea or coffee, toast and cereals are also available. It was delicious! We asked Maggie about dinner spots and she had numerous suggestions; she even called... More

Very nicely refurbished house. The rooms are rather small, but super clean, and everybody will fit in :-) The landlady is very helpfull, even lending her own umbrella to us, who were not prepared for the rain ... Breakfast was large, good and one could get more, if he/she wanted. The only small disadvantage I would call the nearby very... More

The Old Mill House was in the perfect location for us and is a splendid historic building. Friendly host and hostess. My husband and I had booked (phone followed by e-mail) the twin room with bathroom opposite well ahead with all "arrangements as on your mail" confirmed by e-mail from Maggie. Also confirmed in writing is the fact that she... More

Be sure of a warm welcome from Maggie at the Old Mill House, and enjoy the comfort and peace of their lovely house and garden. Everything spotlessly clean and lots of little details attended to. Delicious breakfast cooked to order.

This is a lovely B&B. Great location, charming environment, wonderful accommodation/bedrooms, but above all: incredible hospitality from Maggie and Brian. You will certainly love the Old Mill House, with its great history, its nooks and crannies, and its very comfortable reading room, where we sat down after a day at the New Forest. Highly recommended! Landlady, as well as a landlord, we were very friendly and caring. I will definitely come back with my family to explore all those lovely places... More

A great stay at The Old Mill; welcoming hosts, lovely food and beautiful views over the pond to the hills beyond. Very convenient for travelling to Salisbury, Wilton, local nature reserves, pubs within walking distance.

This is a really lovely b& b run by Maggie and Brian. The house is wonderful, full of history, and you can see the old mill workings which run up through the house. We actually stayed in a newer part, which is more or less self contained, which had a small lounge area, and separate bedroom with on-suite, and overlooked... More

We have stayed at Maggie's before and detoured way out of way so we could do so again. Maggie is an incredible cook and does the best game pie, and pheasant, and salmon I have tasted. We stayed in the Wendy house which is small but perfectly formed and a lovely change. The Mill is fascinating but the cooking! Did... More
