We stayed at this pub for one night only to attend a wedding. The pub is in an attractive location, the room was good enough but probably needs redecorating and updating. The Barford Inn is a good old English pub, with great food. Evening meals are a very nice treat, and the service is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It's well located, close to Wilton, Salisbury, Stonehenge and other Wiltshire attractions. It's only about a 45 minute drive to Bath, but much closer are some wonderfully scenic... more

We found this place by chance, and what good luck. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food was great and the bar had a very nice atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, and everything was good value for money. We really enjoyed our night there - sorry we did not have longer. more

Ok I admit I only used the pub to have a drink on a Friday and Saturday night, but I thought the place was great. The beer tasted excellent (Badger) and the friendly customers made the time I spent in the pub very memorable. Hopefully I will get a chance to visit again soon, but next time I will stay... more
