A surprise hotel in the small old town of Haputale. Very clean and super food served warm. The view from the rooms is simply too breath taking to explain in words, changing all the time with the mist. On a clear day can see upto the south-western end of Sri Lanka.

Stayed here for one night and is a great location when touring the tea plantations. Service excellent and breakfasts and dinner very good. Lovely views and the rooms were very clean. Bit of a walk to the town - need to take a tut tut on the return up the hill!

This hotel was being extended but we were not disturbed by the work. The management and staff were delightful and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Strongly reccomend a stay there. A vIsit to Liptons Seat at dawn is awesome.

We stayed one night on a tour. This hotel is good location for tea plantation visits. Hotel decor quite dated. In fact it is a real throw back to the 1970's!! We were amazed when we stayed here how empty it was, as it's a very nice hotel. Not cheap by Sri Lankan standards but does have gym, amazing views over the valley and rooms are modern and clean. Great showers. Didn't have a buffet as advertised but instead got a soup, choice of 3 mains and 3 desserts each night.... More

Stayed here on our recent visit of the amazing Sri Lankan hill country, was our last stop and after and Hands down was the best place we stayed. Breathtaking views, excellent food and service and the rooms are very modern and new..even got to squeeze in some time to play carrom and table tennis! Ideal place to make a base... More

Friendly staff, great service & superb views. The rooms are modern & very comfortable; the food is excellent. The hotel is a lttle way from the centre of Haputale & we found the quickest way into town was to do what the locals did & follow the railway line; also have a trip by taking the train!

We have booked the hotel over the phone and we had nice relaxing time at hotel. Rooms are really good and staff also so friendly. From the room we got the nice view and rooms also with all facilities.

I stayed here with my family recently, and enjoyed the experience. The service was great, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance was pleasant. Each room has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. This is a place that will not disappoint. The only nits to pick are that the bathrooms are not well illuminated - applying makeup or shaving... More
