incredible remote location on the beautiful island of Raiatea. We have been there on our honeymoon and this is dream location! beautiful private bungalows close to the beach and excellent food served at night! the staff was very helpful and very friendly. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Raiatea!!

The stay at the Opoa is by itsleft worth the trip to Raiatea. Small hotel of less than 10 white and blue bungalows, try to get one with the beach view. Everything is just perfect, lovely, quiet... The food too is just fantastic, a big "bravo" to the chef.

My husband and I visited the middle of June. Having only been to Moorea we decided to expand our travels, which took us to this charming place. This is the perfect place if you want total peace and quiet. We had one of the beautiful beach bungalows, I was taken away by the decor and airy-ness. There is no A/C... More

This place is a gem. Robbi picked us up at the airport. Nice drive to the hotel. Robbi pointed out the sights and different types of fruit trees. When we arrived tawny took over from there. Greeted us with cold fruit juice and explained how the hotel worked then escorted us to our beautiful room. We had dinner there every... More

Strangely i went to the Opoa Beach due to my Job (Yes there are some weird creatures that go to work in French Polynesia). All i can say is in the meager 24hrs i stayed there i had a great time, i got a very nice treatment from the staff and owner. Accomodation are very good and comfortable if you... More

A lovely little private resort. The bungalows were bright, airy and clean. The children loved the hammocks. Very good french food and cocktails. A little off the beaten track, but we were able to organise excursions easily from the resort. We found that it was cheaper to organise our own trips, rather than going through the hotel. We found the trip on... More

We were so glad to have chosen Opoa Beach and that we spent 5 days here, after having visited Moorea and before going to Bora Bora, this place offered us a perfect level of relaxation, with activity on hand as you choose. If you want, the most work can be making your choices from the consistently creative and imaginative evening... More

This was stop #2 (of 5) of our French Polynesian honeymoon. Overall experience was wonderful. We only stayed 2 nights, but would have loved to stay longer in retrospect. In stark contrast to the larger hotels & resorts on some of the other more popular islands, this hotel feels more like a b&b and was a breathe of fresh air... More

Very clean, friendly place. All the bungalows are the same and close together. But you there is complete privacy and quietness. Food is french style, very good and more than plenty. We really enjoyed staying at Opoa Beach Hotel and can only recommend it.

We spent, my wife and I, 4 nights at Opoa Beach. A wonderfull place, a very kind team during all our stay. High quality lodging (caution no AC if you are cold dependent). Very clean. Food quality of very high level. It can be a good reason to go there if you appreciate sophisticated mix of well constructed equilibrium of... More
