This is a simple little hotel which was ideal for our needs. The bonus is that it is a sister of Hotel Catalunya Park only a short distance away where you are allowed to use the pool etc. We ate dinner here every night and strongly reccomend the package. The room was very basic but clean and bright with a little balcony over the street. That was the good news. The whole hotel smelled somewhat dank and the internal lighting was very poor. Well positioned for the Nuria/Freser valleys. Beautiful area, good walking. Very quiet in June, season starts in July. Price was average for Ribes de Freser, which is fair. When full, the hotel is quite noisy. Friendly staff generally, but little English spoken. Good for short stay.
