I have stayed in Ribes De Fresser before (in a very average hotel) but this time i stayed in the best. Beautiful room, view and atmosphere front eh span on the roof was fantastic, restaurant was magnificent, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed for one night to go up to the Valle de Nuria. The Hotel is very comfortable and room clean, we did not eat in the hotel, but the dining room looked very nice. Breakfast extra at 8 euros and dinner at 16 euros, The hotel is very close to the station and they sold us discounted tickets at... More

I came to Ribes de Freser mid-September mainly to hike and have some peace and quiet from a busy life in the city and the result was even better. The situation of the hotel is very practical as it is 2 minutes away from the train station to Nuria. Rooms are quite big, comfortable and clean and the jacuzzi on... More

Situated on the main street we were allocated to a room in the annex - very roomy, very comfortable and very clean. Dinner at 8.30pm comes as a bit of a surprise but typical of Spain but worth waiting for as the choice was extensive and worth the wait. The train station from which the train goes up to Vall... Our rooms were in an annexe 50m away and were fine. We were warmly greeted at check in which was quick and efficient. The stand-out feature here is the restaurant, particularly for dinner. Full, noisy, fun and fantastic food. There was something about the interior decoration that made the place feel warm and welcoming and I think everyone responded. Fantastic... More

When we arrived at the hotel, we were assigned a room in the Annex. As others have noted, these rooms are dark and dingy and certainly not worth $120 a night. However, reception was more than cooperative in giving us keys to two rooms in the main hotel for us to choose. Both rooms were more than satisfactory and the... More

We got large suite for our family (5 people), the room was very nice and the price was reasonable. We got nice recommendation for trip around the city from the reception and there is advantage in the vicinity to the train to Nuria. Still there were 2 drawbacks, one is bad smell that came probably from the kitchen and second,... More

We stayed there for 2 nights, the rooms are excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked tickets for the train to Nuria at the hotel, that's a excellent day out, bring plenty of warm clothes ,it's much colder up there but a lovely place to go.

I just read the prior two reviews about this hotel and couldn't disagree more although we did stay in the main building of the hotel. This was a luxury hotel at an affordable price with friendly staff and good food. The whole main hotel complex was renovated during Christmas 2012 and we peaked into the second building and that looked... More

After reading other reviews,we were sure this was the hotel for us,but sadly no.The main hotel looked beautiful, but we were put into the annex which was so different.Basic, dark, just a corridor of rooms.Room was ok, again dark and if you wanted privacy, you had to close daylight out with the shuttersA touch of paint wouldn"t have gone a miss. Expected so much... More
