One of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in - we're already looking forward to going back. Everything was beautifully presented and welcoming .... from Sandra's initial smile as she came out to greet us, to the lovely homebaked scones served up for afternoon tea and the tastefully decorated bedrooms, guests' lounge and conservatory. She & Les clearly pride... more

This is a very good bed and breakfast just outside the village of Reeth. Sandra and Les are most welcoming hosts, and we had a very clean, and well equipped bedroom. The bedroom was a little small but is very well put together with a very efficient and equally well put together bath/ shower room. On arrival and when arriving... more

We stopped at Cambridge House for 2 nights in August. The location is about a quarter of a mile outside the village centre but an easy walk so don't let that put you off. Free parking is available if you arrive on four wheels, but for those using only two feet there's a dedicated walkers entrance with a dry room... more

We really enjoyed our stay with Sandra and Les who couldn't do enough to make our stay special. Sandra's knowledge of the local walks ensured we got the best views from this beautiful dale. We can thoroughly recommend the Framington Edge walk for extensive views of Swaledale. The guesthouse was immaculate, the breakfast delicious. Our only criticism is that the... more

Enjoyed a two day stay whilst walking around the Dales in this high quality B&B. Sandra and Les were excellent hosts (and in the case of Les entertaining with his stories for all occasions). Tea and scones on arrival were welcome after a day's walking, the rooms were comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The en suite and particularly the shower... more

Had a lovely stay at the Cambridge House. We were greeted by the landlady who was welcoming and friendly, and once we had unloaded our bags, we were served tea and home baked scones in the conservatory. A nice touch and really made you feel like you were on holiday. the room was immaculate with a great bathroom, complete with... more

Sandra and Les have dedicated their B & B service into making a stay there as comfotable and happy as possible. Their communal table breakfasts (everything you could want plus more) starts the day in the best possible way, and a piece of cake on return from a day's walking is soooo welcome! Although the rooms are a bit on... more

We found Cambridge House by Googling for accommodation in Reeth and visiting their website. We booked for two nights and were very pleased that we did. We have stayed in Reeth before and the B&B accommodation standard is good, but Cambridge House is out there in a completely different league to standard B & B accommodation. We have stayed in... more

My partner and I stayed at Cambridge House for one night while on a walking tour of the north Yorkshire dales. While the standard of B&Bs in the area is generally quite high, Cambridge House is in another category altogether. Much can be gleaned from having a look at their website but, for me, what makes this place stand out... more
