I cant really add much to what others have reported...its a wonderful small resort. The food is great...its a communal table at dinner, and its very friendly. We took a boat for snorkeling twice, and the snorkeling is outstanding! We were with our 9 year old son, and the staff really looked after him, both at the resort and out... More

We have just returned from 12 fabulous days at Bunaken Cha Cha. It's a wonderful small resort without pretention. The cottages are large and well configured and kept perfectly spotless by the housekeeping staff. The food is great, fortunately for us it was 99% Indo food which we would always prefer to western style food. Raf, the owner, was terrific.... More

We had a relaxing stay at this lovely resort. Aside from the perfect setting nestled between the jungle & the beach it was the little touches like being greeted with hibiscus scattered all over our cottage that makes a difference. We didn't dive but snorkelled & saw some of the healthiest coral I've ever seen. The food was excellent. Thank... More

Cha-Cha is one of those places I just I can't leave without planning my next visit. Easter was my fourth and definitely not last stay. It's probably because if I could pick my dream home location - this would likely be it. Spectacular ocean views while surrounded by forest. It doesn't hurt that the diving is great and the hospitality... More

This is a seriously laid-back, barefoot sort of place in a gorgeous tranquil setting with great views and brilliant diving on tap. But what makes the difference here is the personal, engaged and genuinely caring approach of owner-proprietors Raf and Reiko. You feel more like you are joining the family than booking into a hotel. It is not the smartest... More

So, I seem to have the honour giving the 100th review on cha cha. In short, the nature there is unbeatable. The house reef is so good, that during days some 4-5 other resort's boats show up and sent their divers down the same place where you only need to walk into the water from the beach belonging to the... If you want to go on a dive vacation to North Sulawesi, you can't make a better choice than Bunaken Cha Cha. Raf and Keiko have created a great small resort in the midst of the jungle that is that is quiet, clean, comfortable, and just about everything you could ask for in a great dive trip. Our dive experience... More

We spent a great four nights at Cha Cha in January. The staff was great, our room was great, the food was great and the diving was great. There were some challenges because of a significant rain (which flooded Monado) while we were there but everyone at the resort made sure that we didn't experience any issues from the rain.... More

I have travelled fairly extensively for the past 10 years and usually I do not revisit many of them, but this is one of the very few exceptions that prove the rule :-) Resort: Being an eco-/nature resort some amenities are of course not present. That said you do get all nature has to offer as it is nestled on... More

If the Swiss Family Robinson decided to make a resort, the Bunaken Cha Cha might be the result. The cottages are surrounded by jungle, with no other hotels or stores or roads in sight. Inside your room, with a view of the sea through the canopy of branches, and no sound but the call of birds and the breaking of... More
