Hosts Tom and Rose could not make one feel more welcome. The meals were excellent and with a total of eight guests round one table, it felt more like a family party every night. Beautiful crystal clear water and reefs teeming with marine life. I would be more than happy to recommend it to all my friends. As General McArthur... More

We booked this resort because it was highly recommended by other users here. And well, we didn't got disappointed in any ways! Rose and Tom, the hosts, offer romantic and totally clean chalets situated in pure nature. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. This is not only because of the super-friendly hosts but also because of the staff there. Everybody... More

We stayed four nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our time - great diving and snorkelling on coral walls with an excellent dive aster and staff, friendly hosts, terrific food, clean and comfortable cottages: highly recommended

Although bunaken island takes some effort getting to, the location is definately worth it. Comfortable, secluded rooms tucked away behind a small bay and great meals provided. Some of the very best diving in Indonesia. The sheer colour and diversity of coral and small fish were breathtaking!! always turtles. This is one for the true dive enthusiast.

If you are looking for peace and quiet with brill diving or snorkelling topped off with excellent food then the Mamaling Resort is for you. We stayed at the Mamaling resort on Bunaken in 2013, always worried that going back somewhere as it might not be as good, we needn't have worried as The Mamaling just gets better if that's... More

Diver lovers will absolutely listed Bunaken as one of the destination. Here what you can see: gorgeous wall reefs and macro creatures (we are talking about very tiny cute flat worms, fishes, etc). Only dive master (Chris) expertise to finding those things,he also experience with all surroundings, beside that, diving with him is very enjoyable. Rental equipment well maintained, boat... More

This is a highlight for divers/snorklers and lovers of pure nature. Surrounded by a Marine Park, it offers amazing sea life amongst coral reef (wall). The resort consists at present of 3 spacious, fully equipped and nicely decorated bungalows, set within mangrove trees, away from the crowd. The local village Alung Banua is a 15 mintues' walk away. My dad and I spent 3 days at Mamaling Resort and were amazed by the beauty and service of the resort. The owners Tom and Rose scheduled our entire transit from Manado airport to the resort for a very affordable price. When we arrived we were greeted by a lush mangrove forest and a little resort tucked away on the... More

Mamaling stands in a quiet part of the island, away from other resorts. The three bungalows (soon to be four) are very well appointed, and tastefully decorated, each with balcony and hammock. The food is superb. Tom and Rose are genial hosts and they and the staff cannot do enough to make guests welcome and comfortable. They run a very... More

mamaling is for you if you prefer the followings in your accomodation experience: - staying in a tranquil location where the only noise you get is from raindrops and mangoes falling into your rooftop (when in season) - preferring a mangrove forest over a beach front view - getting into a simple and routine lifestyle where you dive/snorkel/dolphinewatching in the...
