I had to completely change gears and perspective when moving from the Kungkungan Bay Resort in Lembeh to Living Colours in Bunaken. In an odd way, I felt like I was transported back to Costa Rica—the mangroves, the jungle, the critters. I truly felt close to nature, but I’m not sure whether I was prepared for the reality of it... Living Colours says on their web page that they are a five-star dive resort, and I can certainly vouch for that! Everything was top-notch: communication during booking, ride from the airport, welcoming (they pushed beers to our hands), bungalow, food, dive equipment, guides, boats. Only thing left for a tourist to do is to wake up on time for breakfast,... More

I stayed at beginning of september 7 nights with Living Colours. It all started when i won accommodation package for a week at the travel fair. First i liked to thank the owners Mia and Jaakko for making this possible. Especially Mia who was extremely helpful. We had long e-mail discussion all the practical things before leaving home. She was... More

I did my rescue & divemaster courses with Living Colours. Everything works brilliantly! Courses, diving, food, facilities, divesites.. Top quality! Instructors Heini and Ali are amongst the best pros i've ever met and quality of teaching is excellent. I'm really, really pleased to have chosen to do my courses with LC. Owners, they made my holiday easy from the beginning... More

I had the pleasure of sharing a bungalow with my husband for about 1,5 weeks at Living Colours. Accommodation: bungalows built in traditional Minahasa style. Located on the hillside in garden-like, well-maintained surroundings, many with good views of the sea. No AC, but our bungalow had two fans and the bedding was light and airy. Gas-powered hot-water shower functioned adequately... More

We were a group of friends and we stayed four nights at Living Colours. The diving are breathtaking, the island are surrounded by corals so there are plenty of great diving spots, you will not swim into or crash with big groups of other divers because the island offer good diving all around. There is some muck diving spots but... More

I stayed 9 days in Living Colours in August. Diving in Bunaken is terrific and all dive sites are located near the diveresort. Diving boats are in good shape and big enough. Diving equipment are great quality. Diving in Bunaken National Marine Park is best i've ever tried. Accommodation is good also. Nice bungalows with enough space and large balcony... More

We tried two places at Bunaken. Living colours Dive Resort fully lived up to their website. We (two families - all together 11 persons) had a great time here. Very good diving in the area - and always nice to get a Bintang after the dives. Unfortunately we didn't see any Dugongs.

This was my second time visiting the Living Colours and I had a blast again. Good food, friendly and helpful staff, terrific views from the bungalows, and most importantly really great diving. I did my Advanced Open Water while I was there. My instructor was very qualified and the group sizes were small (usually it was just the two of... More

Only nice thing was diving. Otherwise disappointing resort. Staff was arrogant, owner Mia also quite rude. Cottages were dirty with broken, sticky furnitures which were filled with small animals. Mosquito net was full of dead insects - repulsive. Toilet floor never scrubbed properly - quite revolted. Price - quite high comparing to what you get. The beach was like a... More
