Went here for Saturday evening dinner based on Michelin rating. Do Michelin actually visit the restaurants in their guide? The kirs were good, the wine (pinot noir) thin, didn't bother with digestives, coffe excellent. My wife wanted to send food back to kitchen, her duck was miserable. The cheese board was good - just as well for this famous cheese... More

Used this hotel as a stopover for two nights on the way down and back from the Perigord. Rooms have very thin walls and very noisy plumbing. One bathroom we had was OK but the second was very tired with mould around the shower and dust and cobwebs very evident. The food in the restaurant was adequate but overpriced for... More

an individual hotel, quietly located close to the town centre with easy car parking in the vicinity. Simple but sufficiently comfortable bedrooms, lovely dining room and a very pleasant terrace for eating on warm evenings. Dinner was exceptionally good and represented real value for the quality, which would compare well with some very celebrated establishments. Breakfast was basic but sufficient.... More

Went for the demi pension. The best menu is included in the price. Owner is very sympathetic. Recommend. 90 mins from eurotunnel. In middle of small town, so somewhere to explore. Food was lovely. I love chips but not one in sight. Would visit again.

We used this hotel to break up our journey from Brittany to Calais and chose it for it's dog friendliness. We had a great welcome and all the staff were very friendly. Our room was 108, the first one in the corridor. The interior was good with 2 comfortable single beds and blinds to keep out the bright light outside.... More

This was our first stay in France cycling the Avenue Verte after arriving on the afternoon ferry to Dieppe. And a delightful stay it was too. It may only be rated as two star hotel but it was more than that to us. It's a typical old fashioned hotel in an old fashioned town with good old fashioned hospitality. We were... More

Lovely town to stop en route to Paris by bike cycling on the Avenue Verte. Hotel is comfortable, a little jaded but the food was fabulous and the most generous cheese board ever! Well worth the stay. Laundry down the road was most welcome to this cycling group.

We stayed at Les Airelles for two nights whilst cycling on the Avenue Verte, and had a very enjoyable stay at this pleasant hotel. With another couple, we had two rooms on the second floor - a double with shower and twin with bath. It appears the rooms only come in these combinations and, disappointingly, the bath was only short.... More

We were looking for somewhere to stay on our drive through France not far off our route and no more than 2 hours from Calais. This was perfect in many ways. We had our 2 children with us (age 10 & 12) so we asked for a family room and dinner. I made the booking via email and the reply... More

The hotel is a little gem hidden one street back from the Main Street of Neufchâtel. The manager Patrick checked us in and showed us to our room with absolutely no fuss. A room which was exactly what we needed and quite underrated noting the 2 star rating! The dinner however was where this hotel excelled - I am disappointed... More
