In the age of corporate blah, this is a restaurant that bespeaks individuality and the vision of the men who own and run this hotel-restaurant. Nowhere like it, truly special and unique.

Visiting Lloyds is like going to the home of a close friend for dinner and an overnight stay. The welcome is sincere and friendly , the food is excellently cooked by Roy, well presented and served by Tom with his usual good humour and courtesy. It is always a shame to have to leave such friendliness.

This is our 4th visit to Lloyds; it would have been many more, if we lived nearer.
