That is, the best value of the 5 we stayed in for views, location, staff, comfort and overall experience. The owners could not have been more helpful and their advice as to the order in which to visit the monasteries and how to beat the coach party hordes proved invaluable! Amazing views greeted us from our balcony in the morning... More

Meteora is stunning. But to wake up in the morning and see it from your hotel room balcony with a perfect cup of coffee; is a real treat. Very comfortable room for our only cold night in Greece. Bravo.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night on a quick trip to see Meteora. We appeared to be only one of two couples staying at the hotel because it was the off season, but that didn't stop them from setting up a full breakfast in the morning. The owner was amazingly friendly and helpful with directions to restaurants... More

We stayed here for one night as we were on a quick tour of Meteora. The place is clean although spaces are a bit cramped. Also the walls are a bit thin so the neighboring room complained about the noise we were making. As we were a young group (excited but not rowdy), there was expectedly a bit of noise... More

This hotel was in a fabulous location, particularly if you have a rental car and want to see the monasteries. Kastraki was a much quieter and pleasant village than Kalampaka, easily walkable and charming. The owners were friendly and great help in navigating the area and touring the monasteries. Our room was very compact, but clean and comfortable. there was a... More

We were really impressed by the hotel, its very clean and all facilities are new. We travel a lot and comparing with other 3*** hotels I would give to Hotel Meteoritis 4+. Breakfast was very fresh, view from the balcony was amazing. If we come back to Meteora again we will stay again here.

We stayed here for two nights during the second week in September 2013 during our two-day visit to Meteora. Meteora, incidentally, is both absolutely stunning and unique, and I'd highly recommend seeing at least 2-3 monasteries there (we saw Megaolo Meteoro or Grand Meteoron -- from which there is a lovely view of another, called Varlaam -- Agia Triada or... Don't believe the staff. On hotel check in the guy servin us told us to go to "gardenia" tavern for dinner. We found out that the owner of the tavern is his brother and that the food is not that great. The check in guy also told us that there would be a 9am and a 11am bus to the... More

Our room was very clean and our patio had a beautiful view of Meteora. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful. It was nice staying in Kastraki vs, Kalampaka....as Kastraki has a more quiet village feel vs. Kalampaka is more of a little town/city with more shops (most of which were not open whenever we were in town). The staff was helpful and... More
