My stay at San Giorgio Villa was ideal for a foreign traveler. If you are a tourist focused on really seeing and experiencing Meteors (not just breezing through), this is the place for you. The balcony room meant I could wake up, enjoy morning reading overlooking the mountains and monasteries (ditto at sunset). The villa is one block from the... More

My friend and I were visiting Greece from Australia and she got sick. We were amazed by the support they provided during this period, especially when you are far away from home and there are language barriers. Thank you! I will forever be grateful. The rooms itself was great. Spacious and clean. We had a good view from our room... More

Very good location if you're willing to visit the monasteries from Meteora, but pretty far from Kalambaka restaurants. The service was service, pretty good breakfast as well. Nice view from some rooms, but don't let yourself fooled by the pictures they put on various booking websites. I can't tell you where the pictures were took from, but we had probbaly... More

There's nothing particularly great about this place but there's also nothing wrong. It's clean, comfortable and good value for money. It lacks a bit of character but anyway, nobody goes to Meteora to spend time indoors. The monasteries and the mountains they are build on are absolutely stunning, and this hotel has a great location for your visit, specially if... More

A clean, comfortable room in a small hotel set in a leafy, quiet location. Access to the nearby monasteries is easy. Breakfast was ordinary but nothing to complain about. Fresh bread is delivered to the kitchen in the mornings. The owners also have a restaurant nearby which served us very generous, inexpensive and scrumptious traditional meals. The owners and staff were... More

The villa is very nice, clean and well located in a quiet area. It has a fully equipped kitchen in the basement. We stayed in a room with three beds on the first floor. Beautiful view. The room was clean. Small bathroom, tap water is not completely closed, clean towels but rough (old), less toilet paper (roll incomplete). Classic Breakfast.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It is an ideal base from which to visit the monasteries as you are so close to them. It is a short drive to the monasteries or there are local buses that run from the square, 5 minutes walk away. San Giorgio Villa is clean, spacious and quiet but... More

We stayed in San Giorgio Villa in our roadtrip in Greece. The rooms were very clean, all the staff were so welcoming. Also breakfast was nice. The only thing they can fix is the internet connection on the balconies.

Really lovely spacious rooms, including much needed air-conditioning. Great location for hiking up to the monasteries. Great kitchen facilities provided, although not many places to buy groceries in Kastraki. The village is really beautiful, recommend staying here over larger Kalambaka
