We stayed at Pygros Adrachti after visiting the monasteries of Meteora. We had a great room with view to the rocks. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the city center which has many restaurants. The hosting was lovely and nice.

After traveling for over 30hrs, the Pyrgos Adrachti was the perfect start to our vacation! Rooms were clean and comfortable, beds were like sleeping on clouds, and the BEST view of the Meteora rock formations. Thanasis was very friendly and very helpful/knowledgable. We were able to see all of the Monasteries in one day, and found a delicious place to... More

We loved staying at this hotel. The room was great, very quiet and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The view out of our bedroom was unbelievable and you could also sit out on the lovely patio and have the beautiful views. There is also a bar at the hotel and he went the extra mile to make me... Pyrgos Adrachti is a fabulous property, run by a wonderful family from Kastraki Meteora. The location is peerless, with the large rock formations right behind the lovely building, almost at arm's length! One can spend hours, nestled in the cozy wooden verandas, just gazing at those rocks. The whole resort is very tastefully AND thoughtfully appointed. All the equipment &... More

We stayed three nights to see the wonders of the eyrie-like monasteries scattered about Meteora. We hadn't made a plan of how to accomplish the visits to the sights, arriving by train from Athens we didn't want to drive ourselves, but wanted to be independent. Our host replied to email - 'Leave it to me I will fix when you... More

I stayed in Pyrgos Adrachti for 2 nights. The hotel is located in Kastraki where I believe to be more 'traditional' than Kalabaka. It is surrounded by astonishing rock mountains that you can 'feel' Meteora. Below is the pro and cons. Pros: 1. Located in a calm and traditional village. No crowd. No noise. 2. The hotel is just facing... More

The hotel itself was clean and the staff was quite helpful in terms of tips on hours for each of the monasteries, suggested routes to drive and to hike in order to see them, etc. Perfect location to walk or drive. The room was clean and as advertised. We did not have a balcony and the room was still a... More

You are made to feel very welcome by the host, who also recommended a great tavern for dinner in the village. The room, bed and piloows were very comfortable, with views of the mountains. Parking is available and it is an easy walk to the village. Complimentary water is provided as is coffee and tea and breakfast, with the best... More

Everything was perfect. Pyrgos Adrachti is located in a very beautiful place, just beside the great rocks that are one of the trademark of the Meteora region. Reach the monasteries from there are very easy. The hotel is excellent, with a great breakfast. The rooms are cozy and the view is amazing. The owners are the staff of the hotel... More
